Diana Kroll, the Director of Monee’s Parks & Recreation, and Heidi Gonzalez, a Monee Village Trustee, join Lisa Dent to talk about their roles in the great community of Monee. Kroll, who is currently a breast cancer patient, details the overwhelming support that she has received from the the mayor as well as the community members. Gonzalez shares the story of why she moved to Monee and how it feels like a little bit of Mayberry. Monee’s 150th anniversary celebration is November 9th when they’ll open a time capsule and bury a new one.
