Teresa Murray, a consumer watchdog with the U.S. Public Interest Research Group (PIRG), joins Lisa Dent to talk discuss how health agencies public health officials in multiple states are investigating an outbreak of E. coli. Most people in this outbreak are reporting eating the Quarter Pounder hamburger at McDonald’s before becoming sick. It is not yet confirmed which specific food ingredient is contaminated, although the onions used on the Quarter Pounder are suspected.
