Michael Korman, veteran and caregiver, joins Lisa Dent to talk about the The Elizabeth Dole Foundation. Every year the foundation awards a fellowship to select few. Michael Korman, a 2025 recipient, shares his experience as a caretaker for his father-in-law who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, hearing/vision loss, chronic fatigue syndrome, and more. The two year fellowship will begin later this week as Korman and other recipients travel to Washington D.C.

NHRA Drivers Brittany Force and Austin Prock join Lisa Dent to talk about their racing season. Lindsey LaPointe, 19th District, joins Lisa Dent to discuss Illinois lawmakers working to require private health insurance providers to reimburse in-network therapists at least 141% of the rate Medicare pays. Therapists across the country have stopped accepting private insurance providers, citing improper reimbursement and too much red tape to provide patients with proper care.

This year, the names of 345 officers killed in the line of duty are being added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC.
