    ok
I didn't really like this book.
"I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via AudiobookBlast dot com".
    Not worth the time.
This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
People stuck at some place with nothing better to do.
What was most disappointing about Gary Alan Ruses story?
The story lacks any substance whatsoever. It looks like bunch of stuff is just thrown together to create "humor". The characters are shallow and lack depth. The dialogues are bad. The "humor" is bland. I would recommend skipping this book.
What didnt you like about Nicholas Patrellas performance?
In order to sound different and "pirate-y", the narrator created voices that end up being annoying. The high pitched and grainy voices were getting onto my nerves.
    Any additional comments?
I received this audiobook for free from the author / narrator / publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.
    short, fun and silly
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Found this to be a fun, silly and entertaining story. Loved the time travel and pirates. It's really short, but I'm not sure it could have been much longer without a lot more character development and plot.
Time travel, pirates, mind transference and more
Time cops have to prevent the alteration of the time line as a time criminal pedals m-16's to 16th century pirates. What could possibly go wrong? Did I mention one of the agents is a parrot? I would like to see more about this group and their time traveling adventures. Well written and witty. The narrator delivers on the zany characters and their attitudes. Highly recommend. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
    Bland pirate tale
    Any additional comments?
I tried to enjoy this time travel meets pirating tale but I just couldn't. The characters had no depth and the story was lackluster. The setting feels like the 5th part of a long mediocre series where the author has gotten lazy and we're already supposed to know the premise and already care about the main character.
The only thing that made it bearable was the narration. The narrator was energetic and the voices were fun. Shame that the story itself was something to be endured.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

    Not for me
I really struggled with this book. I found many mistakes and typos so it made it hard to focus on it. I felt like the story jumped around alot and I ended it after the 1/2 way point
... unique writing style had me riding the waves of delight with her kooky and colorful characters
Eri's unique writing style had me riding the waves of delight with her kooky and colorful characters. I loved this hungry little witch and her quirky mother whose butterfly hair and flamboyant attire added so much flavor to the story. Eri's clever sentence structuring created a clean visual for my mind's eye, and I was in awe of it. The story itself---awesome!! Saucy on the run---was she guilty? If not, who would set her up? I had to unravel the mystery!! I highly recommend this "saucy" tale to all who enjoy reading out of the box!!
    brill read
I love the un-orthodox style of this authors writing, it was such a refreshing read. The main character is a sassy witch with an attitude and a rather flamboyant mother. Was she guilty or not you may ask, well that's for you to find out when you read this book- all will be revealed. it was a great read, which I would defiantly recommend, I loved the hidden witch, and look forward to reading more from this incredible author

Imagine the biblical book of Revelations, rewritten by Woody Allen or Mel Brooks. End Times: A Comedy in Two Acts, has more laughs in each scene than the entire Left Behind series. Co-playwrights and twin brothers Bill and Bob Schmalfeldt worked on this project. Unfortunately, Bob died of a stroke in 2004. Bill doesn't think it was related to the writing of this play.

Great story very amusing. Gave me many laughs especially the airplane boarding announcement. This book was provide for free by the author narrator or publisher via audiobookblast in exchange for an unbiased review.
This Was Some Funny Satirical Comedy
END TIMES: A COMEDY was pretty funny and I could easily listen to more. When I first began listening I wasn't sure what to expect or think but the more I listened the more hilarious it became. Act 7 while boarding the plane to Rome was one of my favorites. It was truly a hoot. I hope there'll be more.
Big kudos to all the narrators who participated in this audiobook. They were ALL fantastic and they worked together very well. Everything was cohesive and they made this an even more enjoyable listen. The sound effects were also well done.
"This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."
    Very enjoyable comedy!
Would you consider the audio edition of End Times: A Comedy to be better than the print version?
Of course! You get all the different narrators and voices!
Who was your favorite character and why?
They were all good but I really liked the french speaking Pope and the US president.
Which character as performed by the narrators was your favorite?
    Same as above.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No. This wasn't that type of book.
    Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed listening to this! It takes a lot for me to laugh at something, but I found myself laughing out loud throughout the whole book. I wasn't even aware that they had audiobooks that were written in this format. It reminded me of something that they would listen to on the radio in the old days. I will be listening to this again!

    End Times
This book had a handful of humor and a dash of substance. I just couldn't get past the performance. The different voices were a fun idea where it's a play, but the recording was terrible. I was so put off by it I found myself fast forwarding just to get through it all. Not impressed!
This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast.
    End Times, Laugh-In style
It was the Best of Times, The Worse of Times, then the End of Times.
Twins Bill and Bob Schmalfeldt have gone where almost no one has gone before in a search of the next comedic treasure, finding their inspiration in the Bible's book of Revelations and the series Left Behind.
I especially enjoyed the giggles I got out of the Devil calling his son at work.
The narration was perfect! It was like listening to an old time radio broadcast with a full cast of characters.

    A Brilliant Crime Spoof
Opening this crime spoof at the first page, I had no real idea what to expect. Having read several of Bill Kirtonâs witty, inventive blog posts, however, I had an idea that Iâd enjoy it, and I was happy to be proved right. This is a gripping and frequently hilarious read, which switches effortlessly between multiple points of view and is told in crisp, intelligent writing. Writing comedy is hard â for some of us itâs impossible â so I always admire writers who can make me laugh, and Bill Kirton is one of them. The Sparrow Conundrum is also a daring book, in some ways â Kirton defies the received wisdom put forward in a hundred creative writing courses, for example, by opening the book with an incident involving two characters who donât play any further part in the action. And you know what? It works.
The story follows a hapless French teacher, Christopher Machin, who finds to his astonishment that heâs managed to become entangled in the criminal underworld and industrial espionage surrounding the Aberdeen oil industry. When youâre as timid, mild-mannered and basically ineffectual as Machin, this is a terrifying prospect â as he finds one day when his garden is blown up in a failed assassination attempt.
Soon Machin finds himself being caught in the crossfire between two rival criminal gangs, one of them called âthe Cageâ, whose agents are named after birds. âEagleâ â naturally â is in charge, giving orders to his underlings âHawkâ and âKestrelâ, who in turn pass instructions on to their own minions. Machin, appropriately, is named âSparrowâ, and belongs somewhere at the bottom of the pecking order. The Cage may be a ruthless criminal organisation, but itâs actually much like any bureaucratic organisation in many ways. It employs its own, often incomprehensible, jargon. Its employees engage in rivalry, all chasing after the top spot, which means that the man who actually occupies the bossâs chair has to be continually alert. Long periods of inactivity contrast with short bursts of frenetic action. The occupants of this singular world add their own, particular colour to the story. The boss, Eagle, has a passion for country music and sexual submission (which has hilarious consequences when he falls for one of my favourite characters, Bad Boy Jackson, a wrestler with a passion for knitting).

Title: Seashells, Gator Bones, and the Church of Everlasting Liability
Subtitle: Stories from a Small Florida Town in the 1930s
    Author: Susan Adger
    Narrator: Susan Adger
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 8 hrs and 54 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 01-12-15
    Publisher: Grey Gecko Press
    Genres: Fiction, Humor
    Publisher's Summary:
In the 1930s, the fictional town of Toad Springs, Florida, is filled with the adventures and daily whatnots of worthy, down-to-earth folk such as Flavey Stroudamore, owner of a three-legged gator named Precious who also just happens to have a birthmark of Jesus on his side.
Joining Flavey are Buck Blander, pastor of the Church of Everlasting Liability, who honed his preaching skills in prison but doesn't tell his parishioners, and Sweetie Mooney, whose attempt to run a beauty shop in her aunt's home fails after tragedies with head lice and henna hair dye.
This lively, heartwarming collection of tales from the Sunshine State will inspire you to smile!

wildly funny account of a southern small town and its inhabitants ...
wildly funny account of a southern small town and its inhabitants in the 1920s to 1930s. It may remind us of some folks we know.
    Humor abounds!
Adger has done a wonderful job. I live on the Gulf of Mexico and these characters are terrific, well developed and the stories are all related and hilarious. The "down home expressions" made me laugh outloud. I even stopped to write a couple down!
good if you like short stories
I haven't read many SS books & I kinda felt this just drug out & on. I never got a feel for the characters....
Seashells, Gator Bones, and the Church of Everlasting Liability
    Quick Summary:
From the scraps of paper found in an old, Great Depression Floridian town called Toad Springs, Susan Adger weaves the tales of the town's inhabitants throughout the years. From the new Preacher with a questionable past to the rocky father-son relationship of Landis and Wilton and the unfortunate secret shared between them, Adger shows what makes this town quintessentially Florida, from the characters' happy sunshine in their successes to the bitter sadness residing in the swamps of their darkest days.
To Read or Not to Read:
Read. Definitely give this book a strong consideration. The prose is beautiful, the stories are entertaining, and there is just something special about a Florida town where strawberries, scandal, salvation, and fertilizer recipes can all come together in one book.
    What I liked:
Seashells is full of the quiet dignity of the ordinary. It revels its simplicity, and its simplicity is alluring. Seashells makes its characters so human; they are people, just plain people, showing their heart to the reader from the hopes and dreams that Elsie Lou has of a life with Galen to the despair and failure of Gladys Heppner to ever fit in. The book is written with a Southern dialect, and though that frustrated me in the first few pages, I was quickly drawn into the stories themselves, as it just felt right.
What I also liked a lot was how an incident glossed over in a previous story would become clarified in, and sometimes even become the central focus, of the next story- in all, Seashells is composed of 14 such interrelated stories. There are some tales that are downright funny like what happens to Iona's hair in The Beauty Shop at Carrie June's, and others tales that often ended up being unexpectedly sad like that of childhood friends Rusty and Worthy.
