Publisher's Summary:
Gio twisted his shoulders, jerking himself upright, and hooked a foot around the door frame. One last try. There had to be a way out. "Sergeant," he shouted. "Stay strong. Don't give up."
Don't give up. God, help me. God. He would answer. Somewhere there was a purpose in this. But his doubts rose higher each time Sergeant screamed his name.
Giovanni Cavatelli simply wants to survive this one hour balloon flight. Never mind the girl he's flying is antagonistic, overbearing, and stubborn. Never mind it's her birthday. So they don't get along. He can survive one hour.
But when bad weather sends them crashing into the rural mountainside, one hour turns into three days and a dangerous game with a group of anti-government activists out to destroy them both.
Will her courage and skills be enough to save them? Or will something as simple as true love prove far stronger?

Lots of excitement, but...
As I was reading, I thought, "Where did I download this from? I thought it was Christian fiction." They were scoping each other out & lusting over each other from day 1. I do appreciate that he put the brakes on the physical actions, but he'd already encouraged her to show cleavage & said she wasn't his type, which she (& the reader) deduced that he went for "bimbos". He was a gentleman in actions, but... I'm glad they recognized God, but little about how that would impact their behavior & thoughts. I also thought it was strange that (Spoiler alert?) 3 gun runners/activists wouldn't be carrying guns & been able to quickly & easily overtake her being 3 to 1. All that said, I did enjoy the book & story, their banter. IMO, it was just too much..?..sexualized talk/overt flirting at first, especially between two strangers (& a "Christian" book) -- which is too bad, because I loved the characters & the story.
Wow What a Book!
This book was filled with excitement, suspense, danger and most of all a great live story.
Who would have thought a simple air balloon ride would end up in a crash, in the middle of a dangerous enemy camp in the middle of nowhere?
A great story of love and survival. You must read this great book!

Realistic, unique and super romantic!
This is the second book I've read by this author, and I thoroughly enjoyed each one. Flight Risk, is different from anything I've ever read before. One thing that struck me was how realistic it was. How the man was a man. What I mean by that is, the hunky Italian hero noticed the sway of the heroine's hips, and his eyes trailed over her figure, and his thoughts traveled to places he had to rein in because of his strong beliefs.
I found it very refreshing how the hero and heroine's relationship started, so unlike the majority of inspirational romances. Won't spoil it for you by explaining what I mean. You'll have to buy the book to find out.
I will say, if you like strong, realistic romance (not talking about sex, only thoughts of it), suspense, mystery, intrigue, and laughter, Flight Risk, has it all.
Flight Risk by Suzanne D. Williams
Flight Risk by Suzanne D. Williams is a very good romance story filled with lots of nail biting suspense. Giovanni Cavatelli could not refuse his uncle Vinnie when he asked him to take a couple up for a hot air balloon ride.
