Publisher's Summary:
Fancy Nancy is back in New York Times best-selling team Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser's book Fancy Nancy: Fanciest Doll in the Universe, about the love little girls feel for their favorite dolls - and their favorite sisters!
Fancy Nancy's sister, JoJo, can really be a pest sometimes...like when she put Easter-egg dye in the kiddie pool and dunked Frenchy in it! But this time she's done something really bad, and Nancy is livid - that's fancy for tres angry and upset. JoJo drew a tattoo on Nancy's precious doll, Marabelle Lavinia Chandelier! Even worse, it's in permanent marker. That means it will never come out! When Mom suggests a fancy doll party to make Nancy feel better, Nancy is excited to accept. But what if the doll drama isn't over?
Fans of Fancy Nancy and fancy parties alike will delight in this story of how younger siblings can get on your nerves sometimes, but it always works out in the end. As always, the central theme of all the Fancy Nancy books shines through, showing how Nancy empowers girls with knowledge through her fascination with do-it-yourself fun!

and was so sad to return it that I got her a copy ...
My daughter loves this book. She first checked it out of her school library, and was so sad to return it that I got her a copy at Christmas. Yes, its your typical Fancy Nancy, lots of frou frou and fluff, but a lot of little girls love it! Easy for them to relate to if they have younger siblings, especially ones who may be a little on the destructive side.
Five Stars
Have all these books now and very pleased with price and delivery.
Best book series for girls
Another great book. Jane O'Connor does it again. I love these books so much, I not only buy them for my daughter, but buy them for my nieces. I think that all little girls should have these books. Some of the most brilliant books for girls currently on the market.

loved it
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
A sweet book about the relationship between siblings, this book details Nancy's experiences with her little sister Jo-Jo who is "quite a handful" as her parents say. When Jo-Jo ruins Nancy's favorite doll, she's pretty upset, but in the end it is Jo-Jo's horrible drawing on the doll that helps Nancy find the doll when she is lost. In the end Nancy realizes that maybe little siblings aren't so bad after all. My daughter loves all things Fancy Nancy, and this book is another masterpiece by Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser. THe pictures are wonderful and the story itself is well written. As a teacher, I love all of the elevated vocabulary that O'Connor uses and the fact that my daughter now uses it on a daily basis too. It gives us a lot to talk about in terms of synonyms and connotations and language. I'd recommend this, and all Fancy Nancy books, to everyone!!
