Yes, it was very riveting!

What did you like best about this story?

I really loved this audible book. You have Kelli, KC or Emily depending on where you are the story who is an awesome female character. Strong, intelligent and able to think on her feet. The you have Blake Windsor normally an alpha male with his own strengths but who has been knocked for a loop, literally. Amazing what a concussion can do for you.

I love a good romantic suspense and this was one of the best. I just love it when I don't figure it out, I had a slight suspicion but nothing concrete.

Listen and read this book you will love it.

What does Pamela Almand and The Captain's Voice bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

She really brings the characters alive and gives them each their own unique voice.

This was a good read!Kelli Carpenter is working on a project to build a camp for inner city kids.A man comes to her door saying he was hired to help move things along.Is he for real?Did her friend really send this guy or is ha after her?Kelli has changed her name and life numerous times trying to escape a few things in her past.

Blake,the handyman,is not sure this is the woman he was meant to find.There are twists and turns and way too many misunderstandings.It's got two narrators,Pamela Almand and 'The Captains Voice', which I usually find distracting but it worked in this book.

I was given this book for an honest review.

A beautiful story about love, loss, friendship, and second chances! Korinne hits rock bottom with the sudden loss of her husband, Carson and moves in with her parents to help cope with the loss. After 6 months, she finally decides it's time to move on and therefore moves back to Charlotte, NC where she lived and worked while with her husband. It's too much for her to live in the same house they shared, and decides to get a condo until she's ready to deal. I struggled to finish it, because the main female character had such an up and down disposition. I have never felt so discombobulated as I listened. I wanted to quit so many times, but I hoped it would get better, eh, it never really did, but at least I finished it. I wouldn't listen again though.

An old favorite now on audio book

Would you listen to Streiker's Bride again? Why?

Generally I don't care for author read audio books, but I truly enjoyed Robin's reading of her work. Not only did the soft Texas accent put me in mind of how she envisioned her characters speaking, but she was pleasant to listen to.

Robin's books are usually fairly quick reads, but I appreciated the fact that listening to this audio book slowed me down. I noticed things and made scriptural connections that I never had before, even after reading Streiker's Bride many, many times over the years.

What aspect of Robin Hardys performance would you have changed?

Well, I have loved it if she had acted out the voices, like some actors/readers do! But I thought she did a nice reading.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book has been a favorite of mine for years and it was delightful to get to experience it in a new and different way.

A very hard book to put down

Yes! This is an excellent romance allegory of Christ's love for us.

What did you like best about this story?

Much like "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, which was targeted to kids and young adults. This book provides a more adult perspective on how Jesus romances us to Himself and protects us throughout our lives even when we don't sense His presence.

I'm a fan.

I really like this series. The characters flow from one book to the next so you feel like you're reading one long book.

Mr. Buchman really seems to have a handle on the details of the military and Secret Service. The fact that he writes a really good romance helps. His characters are well developed, the details are well researched and the descriptions of the action keep you engrossed. This book kept me guessing until the end.

I suggest you read the series in order to keep the continuity. It has action, romance, interesting plots, likeable characters and is very well written.

Frank Has a Wonderful Story

Frank's Independence Day is a great addition to the Night Stalker series. Frank appeared as a supporting character in several of the prior books, and now he has the opportunity to tell his own story. Told in flashbacks, Frank explains how he joined the Secret Service, rose to the presidential protection detail, and met the woman who he will love forever. This is a very well-written, sensitive, believable love story that evolves over many years. The entire Night Stalker series is excellent, but while most of the books involve nonstop action, this book is a love story and very worth reading. Highly recommended!

Not worth $4.99

I was very disappointed with the book. It felt disconnected, between current time and the past. Beat and Franks story was a half hearted

effort. I expect more from this author, as I have enjoyed his other books.

I am hesitant to by Peter's book. Hate to spend almost five bucks on a 99Â novella.

Frank's Independence day!

Great reading! I'm looking forward to seeing more of the same when I get to the next one. Thanks for giving me the action that these men are trained to face every mission. Too bad, most of the population is unaware of the dangers our military faces and most don't appreciate it at all. Thanks!

Love doesn't always happen overnight

It's refreshing to get stories that break out of the normal guy meets girl, conflict starts romance. This love story was much more organic and seemed more real.

Yes, it was a cute story.

What did you like best about this story?

The connection between Max and Kelly. I love how Kelly was a ball player and had a dirty month - I love her character.

Which character as performed by Jane Pfitsch was your favorite?

Her performance wasn't the best. I didn't like her man's voice. I pictured Max voice to be much lower and sexier. It was too high pitch for my liking.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I like the two parts.

Second in series...

I loved about 75-80% of this book: watching Matt and Kelly go from two people who can barely stand to be in the same room to two people who can't be apart for the space of a road trip was fantastic. Great chemistry, and fabulous dialogue galore! Both hero and heroine have issues in their past that they end up sharing with each other--again, awesome--and if you've read Love in the Afternoon , Kelly's Kayla's sister and Matt's Sean's best friends, so you'll appreciate seeing them pop up in this story too.

However...

The relationship's "black moment" really rubbed me the wrong way. Okay, it was an issue Matt was extremely sensitive about, I get that. And yeah, he'd only shared it with a very select few people. But why on earth he'd immediately suspect Kelly of causing the problem made zero sense to me. Nothing she'd done up to that point indicated that she'd be capable of doing anything even in remotely the same neighborhood as what he accused her of doing, and that bothered me to no end that he was so quick to assume and acted so hatefully. It was pretty obvious to the reader what had happened, but it felt like Matt was just looking for the easy way out and that was aggravating.

Cute ending, but he should have done waaaaaaaay more grovelling to make up for his asinine accusations. On the strength of the majority of the book, though, I'm continuing with the series--for the most part, I do enjoy Ms.

This book had angst, sweet romance, and hot sex!

Bad Rep was a great story about love and acceptance. Maysie and Jordans journey was rocky and insanelyHOT! The story is told from the point of view of Maysie, a twenty year old college junior who falls head-over-heels for her sexy, off-limits coworker Jordan.Jordan was hot. Like ridiculously hot. I swear I flipped back & forth so much on my feelings for Jordan I got whiplash. One minute he's all sweet hot rock god and the next he is douchy boy with a girlfriend asking another girl out! I went through many phases of both loving and hating Maysie & Jordan. I cheered for them, cried for them, and yelled at them. As you can tell this book was FILLED with drama! The gossipy, back stabbing, girl fight drama that is entertaining but gets old after a while. Fortunately, Jordan and Maysie's journey to love and trust far out shines all the annoying drama. Their attraction was immediate and their romance was insanely hot! I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a simple fun sexy story. On a side note, my friend who read the book shared the author's acknowledgments with me. The author was thanking some of her special people,Particularly my wonderful husband, who is the true inspiration for Jordan and all his kick ass, rock god ways. We met in a bar. He was the sexy, guitar playing Brit and I couldnt resist. Kind if fun knowing that Jordan was based on a real person.

Do not waste a credit!!

A different narrator. She spoke WAY TOO fast and cannot do a mans voice AT ALL!!

Couldn't get past the first chapter. Listen to her interpretation of what a mans voice should sound like!

TOUCHDOWN - A SIZZLING EMOTIONAL GAME FOR 3

Firstly, I made a terrible mistake of starting this book before bedtime and at midnight I was saying to myself "ohhh just another chapter"..... then at 2 a.m. I'm wondering "well how are they all going to set out the ground-rules"..... then by 4 a.m. I'm thinking "wow lucky lucky girl but how's it going to work out for all of them"..... and finally by 6 a.m. I've decided "sleep is overrated huh who needs it"..... Then finally the birds started singing as the dawn broke and I thought "ahhhh lovely."

As you can see this was a non-stop listen for me as this very tender ménage starts to unfold with 2 sexy handsome successful baseball stars and a nurse who decide to share their lives with very hot consequences. Yes, it was full of passion and sex (I have however heard far worse) but it was sooo much more. A touching thought provoking tryst that unfortunately can't go the distance when more than hot sex is at play and everyone becomes miserable when love joins the game.

It also focuses on a few baseball games as their feelings are stretched and the games suffer and we hear about Megan's work in the paediatric ward. It's a lovely listen that will pull at your heart strings because you will find yourself empathising with all three of them as the storyline flows from erotica and enters into a true love story.

For the first time, Jason decides he needs to find his own woman. He loves Megan but not the same way his brother does. After some confusion and issues are resolved between them. Jeff and Megan decide to be together forever. The book was average. The menage was sizzlin hot.
