Great listen! Loved every minute of it! I surely lost lots of sleep time because I could not stop listening. If you like anxiety ridden stories this one is for you. The narrator did a marvelous job narrating the story.

Who might enjoy this book? I don't know, it is hard for me to imagine anyone "enjoying" it. I listened to half of this book and it was so bad I stopped listening and downloaded other books. I finally ran out of credits and decided to go back and finish. It was painful. The narrator was just as bad as the story with all her strange giggles.

What could S. H. Kolee have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The only way this book could be more enjoyable is if it actually had a plot.

No, I will put her on my do not listen list.

It made me sick to my stomach becuse it was so stupid and most of the time I could say the words outloud before I heard them because the story was so predictable. If you are really unintelligent you might like this story.

So over the constant miscommunication

I struggled to finish with the constant angst and miscommunication. It was ridiculous. This could have been wrapped up in the first 25% of the book.

Loved it

Lots of angst and really emotional but I absolutely loved it.

I'll look out for more books from this author.

Nothing.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure, but it will not be from one of Deborah Smith's books. I had previously listened to "When Venus Fell" by this author - an abridged version (3 hours on tape) and enjoyed it, but OMG !! - 19 hours of screaming, cursing, whinning, "plowing" over the same ground (no pun intended), scheming, one tragic Colebrooks/MacKinzies issue layered on top of another is too much suffering for me to endure.

What didnt you like about Kymberly Dakins performance?

The phony, hillybilly imitation of her Southern "accent." The major characters in this book were educated people but in her narration, Lily and Artemas never "speak" an intelligent sentence.

You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Only if you enjoy a modern day version of the Hatfields and McCoys.

Lily and Artemas, two kids thrown together by the strangest of circumstances one Georgia day . . . when he literally "caught" her . . . as she was born, quickly, before any doctor could arrive . . . Lily the daughter of farmers on the farm adjoining the estate of Artemas' parents, (hateful, self-centered, abusive parents, who had frittered away the family fortune) . . . So began the tale of the handsome young prince, who escaped to the woods and farm to visit Lily, his princess every chance he could, promising one day to return for her for good . . . Artemas' parents sent him away to boarding school . . . the the letters began, years and years of letters, all the while, Artemas taking care of all his younger brothers and sisters, and trying to save his own home and the family business . . . and trying to be more, be BETTER than the parents who brought him into the world . . . Blue Willow is a good (long) story, about generational curses, children suffering from the sins of their parents, and learning to heal. The narration could have been better . . . as I started to listen, there was a dreary sound, almost pouting, that I found distracting. I thought the southern accent of Lily was great though. I also could have done without the over descriptive sex scenes, which I was surprised to hear in Deborah Smith's book. Overall, though, the book was very good.

A little happily ever after for the girls, a little nasty for the boys and a little story to string it all together.

"Erotica" is allowed to be trivial. A classic of modern pornography it ain't. None the less, I enjoyed the drive home from work more than usual.

Just Okay

This book was an easy listen however, it was just okay for me. I have listen/read other Suzanne Brockmann books and you can tell this was one of her earlier books. I didn't dislike the book, it sort of dragged for me. The characters were well developed and the story was as well, but I got bored in the middle. It is a true romance book. It did make me laugh a few times. This is not a bad book, It is just not one of her best work. I will continue to listen and read other books by this author. This was the first time with this narrator and he did a good job.

so-so

There was nothing and no one in this story to make the reader actually care. Juliana is, in a word, pissy. Webster is appealing except for this one huge lapse in judgement--for some unknown reason he falls head-over-heels in love with Juliana--who, as I think I mentioned, is pissy.

Then there is the part at the end where I think she makes him grovel way too much.

I generally like Brockmann's non-Troubleshooter books, but this was a general fail for me.

I've listened to Patrick Lawlor perform several audiobooks in the past and I like his voice and delivery. I particularly enjoyed his reading of Brockmann's Infamous. In this case he didn't have much to work with. I do think his delivery of love scenes to be a bit too enthusiastic. A more subtle approach would make the scenes more sensuous

Cute!

I decided to get this book because it was inexpensive and I was looking for something light and easy to listen to. It was a cute story! Better than I expected. I thought the main characters charming. Definitely worth the cost!

Kind of slow and boring

I love most of her books but this one was slow and boring and I felt like I wanted to fast forward through most of it. This one won't stop me from listening to more Suzanne Brockmann books as I have listened to many that I love.

Could not finish it

I always enjoy Patrick Lawlor, but there was not enough story line for me. And I have read and enjoyed many Suzanne Brockmann books.

I read reviews of this book and thought that this one would not be as good as the other two. I like the style of this book and read it these types of book to take away from the heaviness of others. However I backed away from this one because I read that the main character (Marcus) was hard-headed and un-moving. Not the case at all. He has the most loving and demined spirit out of the 3 brothers and I am upset with myself with taking so long to read this one. It is an enjoyable read and I am happy that I took time to listen.

Modern feminist reporter versus staunch bachelor

This was enjoyableAs the last two that I read in the series. Famous feminists journalist meets confirmed bachelor. But what happens when the journalists Falls in love with said bachelor?!

Okay. Enjoyed the first two better.

I was disappointed in this story and the end of the series. I wanted to know more about the characters.

Trite and tedious

The plot line is great, the idea that three brothers are trying to recreate the town that they grew up in after an F5 tornado decimated it. The idea that they're trying to create a green community is also enjoyable. It's only that many of the characters are too formulaic, too stereotypical that led me farther and farther into disliking the book.

I did finish this. I was invested in the characters from the first two books, and even though they were good rather than great they were the kind of escapist reading I was looking for. This one had such a nasty female protagonist I couldn't see any way for her to become a lovable character. She does, of course, otherwise it wouldn't be proper escapism. But neither character can really stay true to his or herself and still make the happy ending, so people had to undergo unrealistic changes to get to the end.
