PREPARE YOUR EARS...... IT'S A HOT ONE

Poor Gabriel - a disfigured, once handsome sensitive hero with a 'sexual problem' that put's the ladies off so rarely does he get involved with the opposite sex unless he pays for it. That is until they rescue Maya, a recently attacked and turned vampire, then suddenly he becomes irrational, protective and obsessed but because of his 'problem' he tries to keep her away.

Maya is drawn to Gabriel, hungers and burns for him, but she is being stalked by a mystery vampire and Gabriel is trying to take his duties very seriously by staying close to her but he's getting distracted by both Maya and finding a cure for his 'problem'.

There's mystery, action, adventure, twists, murders, humor, surprises, passion and when his problem suddenly becomes an advantage it results in some HOT HOT sex scenes (so be warned). In this very enjoyable, entertaining, emotional and addictive listen you can't help but like both main characters and empathise with Gabriel's situation, it's also filled with other mysterious Scanguards that I'm sure we'll be hearing about and I can't wait.

Sex, Lies and Murder... SO GOOD!!!

I have been looking forward to all the Scanguard series becoming available on audible ever since I heard Samson's Lovely Mortal. Let me tell you this book didn't disappoint. Sex, Lies, and Murder, what more can you want from a good PNR. With this book by chapter two, I was able to deduce who the villain was but it didn't stop me from reading the rest of the story with enthusiasm. I think I was more interested with Gabriel's unusual sexual condition than I was in determining the mastermind stalker. Gabriel, although as described as not the most attractive vampire, he has a beautiful heart and soul underneath. I was happy he found what he needed in Maya, who is just as insecure about herself as Gabriel. Together they fill in each other what the other person is lacking. Yeah the ending is predictable but nonetheless it's worth time to get there. Is it worth a credit, umm DUH!!!!! And OH did I mention, I love Kevin Foley voice.

Pleasantly surprised!

Would you listen to Lover Uncloaked again? Why?

This was not a "I just gotta listen to this story again" book. However, I have several books in my library I just could not make it to the end of the story the first time. If given the choice of listening to this book or those books in my library, I would gladly listen to this book again.

Yes, I would recommend this story. Most of my friends listen to paranormal romances so I know they would at least "like" this story.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Eric did a great job of narrating the story. He really brought the characters to life and I loved that he gave the characters their proper accents.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I bought this book because it was on sale and I am so glad I did. This was a story that capture my interest right from the beginning and kept me engaged all the way to the end. I actually listened to this book over the weekend.

I Love Tina Folsom!!!!

This is another great story by Tina Folsom. If you liked the Sanguard vampire books, then you will enjoy this one, it is a good start to a paranormal romance series. Only bad thing is it goes by too quick!!

Love me some Shifters UnBound! Love me some JA!!!

Man o Man this was so good. Ok.. So when I got Tiger's Magic... Book 5, Rowan had a woman, and I was so confused... I was like what? Ok... this is the answer to that! This is like book 2.5, so this falls in between even Iona and the other shifter town in Austin. I loved how the books come out though... because we really don't know about Rowan's household until book 5... then this book, falls way way before that book, so you see Rowan's household before all of the events of book 5. You meet Olaf in book 5 but you get to know him in this book. Sooo cute. And Rowan... OMG! I never really pictured Rowan as a sexy man, until this book. He was always around with Liam and the other shifter, but now...I just want to squeeze and hug him and wrap him up in a big ol bear hug! This was awesome.

Great Credit/buy if you have any of the other shifter unbound books! U want this in your collection!

BEAUTY & THE BEAST - BUT WHO TAMES WHO?

You may gulp at the price for a 5 hr listen but if you're into the Shifters Unbound Series then this is a must have. I gave it only 3 stars purely because of it's short length.

Elizabeth's got issues and problems but she's one lucky girl when Ronan comes roaring to her rescue.... and stays despite gang leaders and her past catching up with her and they all want her dead. Ronan's a sweetheart and is feeling the 'mating urge' but, with her causing him, and his fellow shifters, all sorts of grief things soon get out of hand - but thankfully the cute and cuddly Kodiak bear can look after her and thankfully himself too.

Sweet romance, not your usual 'Alpha' type, not sexy or hot but a tender, feel-good, teddybear love story about secrets and trust along with a few evil villainous characters thrown in. We also hear of further developments/insights into the world of the Shifters that's been created so well by JA.

Worth a credit? I'm a Shifters fan so of course I'm gonna say Yes.

Great start to a smexy shifter series

Great start to a fascinating new series. A fresh new spin on modern times meets post apocalypse. I am very intrigued in seeing where this series is headed.

Carla is a really interesting character, she struggles with coming to terms with her new circumstances. The attraction with Taye is immediate, and she does put up a good fight. How can she resist a smexy Alpha wolf who is set to love and seduce his mate! They have a great dynamic, even though things happen quickly the feeling seem real.

The narrative is mostly from the two leads POV and alternates between them. Really great for understanding both sides of the story! Really seamless changes were easy to follow.

There are many supporting characters introduced and I am very interested in hearing all their stories. Imagine being thrown fifty years into the future! Whoa what a big thing to have to adapt to and then find out there was an Apocalypse when you vanished from your time! Loads of meat on this story.

The smexy stuff is uber delicious!! I could really go for an Alpha guy who has learned how to please his woman from all the best erotic novels! Okay, the terms he learns for the fun parts are a touch off, but the idea is there!! Oh la, I definitely sign up for that seduction!! Plenty of yummy details will get ya hot and bothered!!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Clementine Cage, she rocks!! Great voices and a real feel for the movement of the story. She reads at a nice quick pace, love that, but if you like it slower you can slow it down on Audible. Really enjoyed the pairing of this narrator with this intriguing series! I am excited to hear more of her of the rest of the books.

Overall, I am really intrigued by this new series. Yummy Alpha men who are also wolves, I am a sucker for shifters! This is a new concept for me and I am definitely hooked!

Not Air Tight, but Enjoyable

I really did enjoy the story, and overall had to give this book a decent score. Yes, there are some problems. There was an immaturity to the writing style, some holes in the plot line and the author hasn't developed a very strong voice, but the premise and story were good, and the story itself was entertaining. While I did have a few eyerolls in the process of listening to this book, in the end, I was left smiling and satisfied and that's really what reading is all about for me.

This is a dystopian fantasy, but not really a dark one. Oh, yes, the apocalypse has happened, and times are tough.

Each Book Gets Better...Great Series!!

I am hoping that books 1 and 2 will be coming to Audible soon, but if not, I would recommend reading them first and then buying this audio book. I am a huge fan of paranormal romance and these books are great. This is a continuation from book 2, so it is not really a stand alone story.

I was not prepared to love Demetrius as much as I did by the end. He has been a pain in the neck in the past 2 books, and I was not sure how sympathetic and forgiving I was going to be. But he had his reasons and this book really made me his fan.

I loved Isadora from book 1 and 2 and it was good to see her get a soul mate.

This book has great characters, a good plot line that arcs multiple books and is well written and well paces. I highly recommend the audio book if you can read book 1 and 2 first.

Glad these books have made it to Audible

I was really excited to see these books come to audible. Unfortunately you have to read the first two books in the series because I think she had a different publishing company back then but I would definitely recommend you read books 1 & 2 before starting the audio series. The narrator was good but she took a little bit for me to get used to her. I would have chosen a different narrator but she was not bad. Lots of good mythology mixed with present day. If you like Sherrilyn Kenyon's series you will like this series.

I'M SOOO GLAD I WAS TEMPTED BY THIS GREAT SERIES

In this powerful 3rd book we see Demetrius, a damaged reluctant hero, battle his personal demons, his Mother, his obsession for his soul mate, the other Argonauts, various daemons and the darkness that constantly threatens his soul. We also watch as timid Princess Isadora finally morphs into a strong and very capable Queen.

In previous books Demetrius and Isadora have had a volatile intense dislike for each other over the years but in this enjoyable, action-packed story they are unfortunate pawns in someone's secret evil agenda and they must learn to live closely together but nothing more or else all will be lost. But before long their mutually erected barriers of dislike slowly fall away which leaves them with lust, passion, sex and love - however, hurt, betrayal, revenge, sacrifice and torture must be endured before forgiveness, compassion and quick thinking wins the inevitable HEA.

Very well narrated by Elizabeth Wiley whose talented voices brings to life each character, each scene and transforms a good book into a great listen.

Worth a credit? A perfect paranormal fantasy adventure with great mythical characters, magic, witches, Gods, Goddesses and, as fate takes it's course, an enduring powerful love story.

THIS is the way to write romantic fantasy.

This story is better than the synopsis sounds. The writing is very good.

Currently $1.14 for Kindle version and $1.99 for the Audible version. WELL worth it.

First off I'll admit Romances typically are not my thing. Now, I don't mind some romance in my stories, if done well, and not too angsty, have a love triangle and or insta-love, but too often I've found in books labeled "Romance" everything but the "romance" seems thrown in as window dressing.

However, there are a few notable exceptions, and this is one of them. I'd label this Romance/Fantasy. There is an actual, real plot here. Not too complex a plot, but in this case that didn't matter to me. Because, the writing is excellent, the world in which it takes place is well drawn, as are secondary characters, and it was a real pleasure to read this story. The author knows how to tell a story, set a scene and give us characters we can like and care about.

Bonuses: Our heroine is feisty, and our hero, while having his grumpy, testy moments, is not a jerk.

If you like Romances that are more than thrown together to be devoured and forgotten, and you can enjoy some fantasy and adventure elements mixed in, then you may very well like this one.

If you enjoy fantasy, adventure, with a plucky heroine and don't mind a bit of romance in the mix, then you also may enjoy this one.

And with a Kindle price of $1.14 there's not much risk giving it a try.

The story is self-contained. Although I'd love more stories set in this world it appears currently the author has no plans to write more.

From the first lines this book draws you in.

I really enjoyed this story. Hearing how she slowly grows up and realised who she is as a person. learning not to judge someone based on their parents and falling in love. The magic in this story is not overbearing but enough to excite you and keep you grabbing for this book. I am sad that it is over and will be looking for other things from this author as well.

Yes. It is a nice story with romance. It is a story that can be listened to with the family around.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Christmas Kiss?

Of course, the first kiss is always memorable. However,Christmas morning was the most memorable moment in the story. The laird does his best to delight the child and the woman who have come to live in his home.

What three words best describe R. M. Bennett and C. P. Smith s voice?

R.M. Bennett: Upbeat, Clear, C.P. Smith: Ordinary (Thankfully, it was a minor part in the book. It would have been better if R.M. Bennett read the entire book).

This is a sweet time travel romance. Makes you wish you had a man as sweet as the manly laird in this story. Very sweet story.

The story is similar to a modern fairy tale. A modern girl is transported back in time to an ancient castle with a very handsome and sweet laird. The girl has difficulty convincing the laird the she is really from the future. However, they fall in love with each other even though neither believes in time travel.

Narrator is not good with female characters

Emily sounds like Emily Kimberly, Dustin Hoffman's female disguise in Tootsie. Maybe Audible customers could get a choice between male and female narrators with a book purchase.

Worst narration ever!

Would you try another book from Pauline Baird Jones and/or Bill Brooks?

I've listened to several PBJ books, and mostly have enjoyed them all. I don't know if this one is good or not because the narration is so abysmal I can't follow the story. In particular, the female characterizations are dreadful. Mr. Brooks should spend some time with a drag queen learning not to speak in a higher register, but to soften his tone.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Bill Brooks?

Anyone would have been better!

AN ANGELIC GREAT ADDITION FOR P/R FANS

Ahhhhh Elijah (ex bodyguard and sexy Alpha leader of the Lycans) falls for Vashti (second in command of the vamps) and a sizzling hot romance follows but some people aren't happy about it - including themselves.

Not a stand alone listen as it's 2 of a trilogy and the base story has already been set in book 1. SD continues her exciting paranormal world of the Renegade Angels with this story which has all the usual great characters we've already met and some new interesting ones as the story continues to unfold a bit more as we come closer to finding out the who, what and why's. Beware, it does contain a bit more sex scenes and swearing but it's also action packed, riveting and passionate.

Worth a credit? Yes, but for $7.34 I'd just buy it. Not long to wait until the conclusion in book 3 A Taste of Seduction which is released in February and it's Syre's story (leader of the Vampires).

Just Couldn't...

Being a Sylvia Day- Crossfire fan, I suppose I was expecting too much. This book did not deliver anything for me. I listened to 3 chapters and turned it off.

After reading J.R. Ward, paranormal writers must really produce something spectacular as well as smart. This book was neither. The narrator did a nice job, but other than that, save your credits for her next Crossfire installment.

Wow, Hotter than He**

This book will scorch you. This book is super hot and has a great story line with all the hot romance. Hotter than the first one. Those Lycans sure can get down.

Really! I like it better if the same narrator does a complete series, but really, pick one of the 2 and keep that ONE for the rest of these. This narrator isnt bad, its just my brain just heard the first book and then had to get used to a new voice for all my fav characters.

This book is so worth the price (actually very low price) and I highly recommend this book and series to everyone that loves a hot romance read that consumes the listener. Had to do this one in 2 nights, but it sure could be a one day or night read. Wow.

This storyline is amazing, I am going to listen

to it over and over again. I can't wait for the next book to come out.
