GREAT ENDING TO GREAT SERIES!

I loved this series so much I think Im about to listen to it again. There is a lot of sex. A LOT so if thats not your cup of tea! Shame on you . All three books are excellent. This is one of the great listens because of the ups and downs and the even better narration. GET THIS SERIES YOU WILL LOVE IT.

NOW THATS HOW TO WRITE AN AWESOME TRILOGY

Im in a book hangover right now after finishing this wonderful trilogy and, despite having quite a few new books on my phone to listen to, Ive got no real desire to start any of them. My minds still lost in the compelling emotional rollercoaster ride that London and Crew have journeyed on to finally get their HEA ending. I want to start it all over again.. to savor, to devour and to wallow in the world of Scotch.

As with the other two books, this talented author didnt disappoint as she weaved more drama, heartache and angst for London and Crewe to battle their way through in their fight to be together.. and to stay together. Londons still as strong and feisty as shes been in the previous books and Crewe.. well hes just as damaged and just as consumed by the woman that broke him. But that woman is going to fight for Crewes forgiveness and fight for his love too. Unfortunately for both of them, just as happiness is theirs once more, someone steps in the way of true love and derails everything.

I didnt know how Penelope Sky was going to put all the pieces back together again for these two stubborn characters after Londons betrayal.. but I should never have doubted this talented authors abilities because she spectacularly delivered.. and it was absolutely perfect. Theres lots of sex.. but Crewe has never ever, in any of the books, forced himself on London.. the sex has ALWAYS been mutual. In this trilogy Crewes been many things.. astute businessman, a Scottish Duke, a cold-blooded jailer, an underworld spy, an alpha lover, a savior and finally the love of Londons life.. but hidden beneath all his masks lies a vulnerable damaged passionate soul. And throughout Londons remained positive, strong, compassionate, loyal and feisty. Angst, heartache and drama from secondary characters too. Dual POVs and excellent narration brought these characters, and their story, to life.

Worth a credit? Its thrilling, its gripping, its hot, its intense, its an achingly beautiful love story, its well narrated and oh boy YES its worth a credit.

Need work!!!!!!!!!!!!! warning

It was a disappointment, but the best of the three.

Plot ideas has good possibilities--but the writing brought it down. Narration is better then the writing.

Omg this series I could not putting down my second time on buying audiobooks from this author, the button series and this one, beautiful love story, love the narrators they voices are implacable, I will look for more books with them as a narrators , I will recommend this books to all the readers

A BOUNTIFUL TREASURE TROVE OF FEELS

There were seventy-one well-written magical swoonworthy chapters.. but that just wasnt enough for me because I wanted more more more. I wanted to linger for a little while longer with these wonderful characters who Id grown to love in a day. I wanted to bask in the euphoric feel of a perfectly penned and perfectly delivered love story. Seventy-one riveting chapters and they all counted.. and they were all addictively entertaining. In this dual POV love story CD Reiss has managed to weave a story that encompasses an off-limits tender love of soul meeting soul, a destructive dangerous love and a very touching familial love - and, whatever the love is, theres emotional pain, angst and drama. Emily and Carter are loving, kind, self-sacrificing and loyal.. and CD Reiss has written one hell of a wicked story for them.. and for us.

Emily is a talented Choreographer and her handsome Bodyguard Carter Kincaid is a sexy ex LAPD Cop and theres seismic chemistry between these two characters.. but Emilys being stalked by her volatile low-life ex. So Carter has to be diligent, professional and to stop imagining all the ways he can make Emily scream his name.. and, for just a wee while, Carter was successful. Worth a credit? Yes definitely yes.. all the characters felt real, the layering was good and the storyline was nicely paced as it was a deliciously slow simmer of heated glances, lust-filled thoughts and longing looks which rollercoastered its way through passion and pleasures to reach the forever kind of love. Great narration too.

Loved it!

This audiobook was such a great listen. The heroine is a choreographer to her lifelong star friend. She also has a crazy, dangerous stalker ex-boyfriend. The hero is at first a bodyguard for her friend, but when the ex starts escalating her star friend insists on her having him as her bodyguard instead. The hero has a son whose mother is a Hollywood actress and who doesnt have anything to do with her son. The attraction between The choreographer and the bodyguards attraction is hot and immediate.

LOVED this! Good story. Starts the same as a couple of other recent titles, but goes off in a totally different and totally enjoyable and educational direction! Good characterizations, great pacing, fascinating history. I really enjoyed this well performed novel!

Wow I have enjoyed all the books in this series. I really thought Cletus was going to be my all-time favorite but this one is just amazing.

I am going to admit I never really noticed Beau that much. It was Shelly from the last book that made me want her book. And WOW. Beau is exactly who Shelly needed and Shelly was exacly who Beau needed.

This book made me see OCD in a different light. I have more compassion now than I did before. Shelly is soo strong she is a character that isnt going to leave me for a long time. Her struggle is real and heart breaking but enlighten as well.

Having Quinn come back for this book really gave me the full picture of how/why Shelly was so determined to deal with her issues and to try and overcome them.

Its a courageous tall of growth and I admire Penny Reid for writing this book and enlightening us all.

She also gave us a romance and humor. My hats off to you Mrs. Reid. Outstanding.

There are NO words to describe how well Chris Brinkley is in these books, he IS the Winston brothers period end of story. And Angela Dawe amazing as Shelly she was Shelly.

all around a winner

I loved this story. Penny Reid has a way of working her beautiful words into a thoughtful educational lesson without you even realizing what is happening. I am not sure this is her aim but after every book I feel like a better, more thoughtful, individual.

The narration is superb! I have come to think Chris Brinkley as the voice of the Winstons and Angela Dawe is amazing! I am glad Mrs. Reid waited until she found the right voice for Shelly. I will be looking Ms. Dawe up and scowering her works.

This book really makes one think. It opened up my eyes to the various complexities of OCD.

I really loved this book. As always, the writing is superb. The narration was wonderful as well.

wonderful story with a nontraditional heroine

I love that Penny (author) broke the mold of the traditional romantic lead characters with 'un-perfect' Shelly. While continuing to tell the stories of the Winston Brothers, Shelly' s character brings light to mental disease and the complexity of OCD.

EXCELLENT.. A SEXY ROMANTIC MYSTERY

I knew, as soon as this first book in the White Lies Duet was released, that I just couldnt listen to it.. well not then anyway and not until the second book became available. And its not because it isnt tempting - because it is.. and its not because the author is an unknown - because she IS well-known, well respected and shes very talented. No, its because I had been a willing participant stuck in one of this authors sticky webs before with no desire to be freed until the final words had been spoken. Where does Play On rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

It's one of my favorites! I love Samantha Young and I especially love her On Dublin Street Series. In Play On it feels like she made a smart return to Scotland and gave us that love story I was so desperately looking for! I love a book that can make you swoon, fall in love and then tear that love right out of your hands making you want to throw your ereader against the wall!! Samantha does this so well!! Of course I love the suffering of broken hearts, the angst of will they or won't they work it out! This book delivered that long searched for love story that I crave!!A very will deserved 5 stars!! This is one of my favorites and I will return to listen again and again because this is a rare gem...that book that you search for months to find!!LOVE IT!!!

Good listen if you are in the mood for it.

Wonderfully written. Not a light easy read. Lots of loss and pain. Kept me entertained and I liked it but will not listen to it repeatedly like I have all Samantha Youngs other books.

Love this story!

5 Crazy Ass Must Read In One Sitting Stars!!!!!

Laughter, tears, off-the-charts chemistry, heart-break, heart-ache, swoons, smiles, and tons of Harris' crazy abound in this latest installment to the Harris Brothers series.

So I had all the intentions of posting a pic of this on my kindle when I was about to start reading early this morning. A strange thing happened. It actually has not happened to me in a while so that's the strange part. I read this in one sitting! Yeah, I know! I have not been this engrossed in a book in a while that I haven't been able to put it done at least for a couple of hours to run errands and such. Yeah I started at around 7 am and the next thing I know it's 12:45pm. Yeah, errands schmerrands! Seriously though, I have not been so engrossed in a book like I was with this one. Totally had to give this it's own rating too!

I love this series. Actually, I've loved everything I've read by Amy Daws and this book was no different. It was great to get Booker's (and Poppy's) story. He has intrigued me a lot in Endurance. I loved Poppy and all her quirkiness. She cracked me up quite a few times.

Amy Daws totally rocked this! One of my favorite things when reading a series is to have characters from previous series have a part in the current series. So you can safely say I loved the little cameo appearances of Theo and Brody. And I love that Amy continues to do this.

I am looking forward for Gareth's story next. I have been wanting his story since Vi's story in That One Moment (London Lovers series). Let the Crazy Ass Stalking commence because I need to find out when this Harris Brother will be hitting the virtual shelves.

I absolutely loved the audiobook! I could listen to Will and Charlotte all day. Oh, wait. I did listen to them all day.

When I first read this book back in Sept, I absolutely loved it. Booker and Poppy's story drew me in so much so that I read it in one sitting while ignoring errands I need to run. Thankfully, that was not the problem with the audiobook. The problem came while I was running to the grocery story for a couple of things earlier and spent 45 mins in my car listening to Will and Charlotte. Gosh, those two nailed the narration! They totally fit Booker and Poppy perfectly.

I thought the two of them did a great job with the narration of Endurance but I think they topped that with the addition of the Irish and Scottish accents.

A COMPELLING CONCLUSION TO AN ADDICTIVE DUET

So Nick and Faiths story continues to build along with all the mystery and suspense in this second book in the White Lies Duet. The suspense is two-fold.. from constantly expecting Nicks secrets and lies to be found out and guessing who exactly is behind the murders, whats their agenda.. and who or whats next. Then it adds another layer or three on top as Faith and Nicks relationship grows deeper and stronger, her Artistic career starts to take off which brings back Faiths overfriendly agent, as well as a person shed rather not see from her past and her estranged Uncle is lurking in the wings to either rebuild bridges.. or to destroy them only time will tell.

Meanwhile Nicks fallen hard and goes out of his way to merge his and Faiths lives together, protect her from the threats and encourage her in her new career.. but the sharing of his secrets and coming clean about his lies was, predictably, left too late. Because Pandora opened the box, the cat was let out of the bag.. and the poop hit the fan - and poor obsessed and devastated Nick only had himself to blame. The sexy arrogant badass alpha said hed fight to keep Faith by his side and safe.. and thats exactly what this tireless hero had to do.. as well as walk through flames to save her. Nick set off to catch a killer, unravel a mystery and walk away a happy man without getting burned.. guess he achieved MOST of those objectives.

A very enjoyable dual POV conclusion with just the right balance of passion/sex, mystery, suspense, drama and relationship building.. however I did think the reveal at the end was a little anti-climactic after the long build-up and uh huh moments. These two damaged complex characters taught each other how to open up, how to live, how to love, how to repent and how to forgive. The sizzling chemistry, character-building/development and the blending of two lives was nicely paced and the tarnished sexy hero deserved.. and very much earned the heroines love in the end.. and their HEA too.

Worth a credit? This was a excellent Duet to get lost in and each scene was described really well, each chapter was captivating, the story was jointly well narrated, the dialogue flowed easily and the whole Duet, IMO, was definitely worth the two credits.

Great except for...

Lance Greenfield is great w male voices.

Unfortunately, when we speaks as Faith, she sounds like she has a Brooklyn accent.

Great conclusion to the White Lies Duet

I couldnt wait to get my hands on this conclusion the the White Lies Duet! I couldnt wait to find out if Faith was as honest as she appeared or if she was actually capable of killing. I was also waiting to see what would happen when Faith finally found out Nick had been lying to her the whole time.

Not my favorite

Ava's lack of confidence became rather annoying after a few chapters. How did Joel not move on from her? In Uni I could understand a little bit of her lack of confidence but after a bit it's like OMG! He wants you get out over it. Then in adulthood you can't tell your friends you were once in love and still are in love with him. Grow up. I normally like Louise Bay books but, this one did t hit the mark for me.

UNDERWHELMING.. AND SADLY NOT FOR ME

This British book is titled just right.. because I was HOPEFUL it would get better. HOPEFUL the heroine Ava would grow a pair and grow up. HOPEFUL the story would be more than her inner monologues of hero Joels many virtues compared to her long list of inadequacies. I was HOPEFUL the narrators talented voice could rescue the plot. I was HOPEFUL I hadnt wasted a credit. And finally, I was HOPEFUL my growing frustration and dislike of this book would fade.. but sadly I was very disappointed on all counts.

Its told in ever changing past and present chapters from Avas stained POV of herself with an eight year gap separating the times. Avas twenty yr old law student self watches cool, handsome and popular Joel mix well at the University that they, and their joint group of friends, attend. A study partnership slowly evolved into love but Ava was determined to keep it a secret from everyone - including their friends. Eventually difficult choices had to be made and that set the scene for them reuniting years later with the present chapters with Avas doubts and dilemmas over Joels return, her unchanged love and longing for him, how she can prepare herself (and her boyfriendless situation) for his return and the mess that ensues after his return.

Worth a credit? Ive enjoyed the other books written by Louise Bay (some more than others) and I certainly dont have the patience, skills or talents to write a Novella let alone a whole book. But, IMO, the angle of this story was wrong because I longed to get out of Avas head filled with her constant low self-worth destructive thoughts about her many many failings compared to Joels many many virtues. And I blew out a huge sigh of relief at the end of this book.. but unfortunately it wasnt a happy contented sigh after an enjoyable and entertaining story - so NO, sadly, I dont think this is credit worthy.. in fact Ill be asking for mine back.

Good start to the story ..but..

Love Brian P. But am not impressed with Nataaha.. Almost could not listen to her but the story was good.. I may have to just read the next parts ..:( I do love the way Brian does the accents.. ?? My Dilemma

A sizzling hot page turner

OMG! Chelle Bliss is the mistress of hot stories that you can't put down. Lauren and Antonio burn up the pages. A one night stand that will blow your mind when they realize they are each other's arch business rival. Natasha Soudek is a shining star as Lauren and Brian Pallino as the voice of Antonio will melt you where you sit! This ends in a cliffy but is more than worth the anticipation of the following book.

Cliffhanger

The story was great but I hate cliffhangers! Nope I am done. I will not buy anymore from this author.

alpha romance with feminist touches

Book was interesting. Tropish rivals to lovers type book. The only major difference was CONSENT was a major part of this book. Romance kinda dips a toe into dubcon a lot, and even though Antonio/H was an a-hole, the fact he cared so much about her consent really mattered to me and convinced me to keep it to 4 instead of 3.

The story itself isn't 3 worthy, but it ends on a cliffhanger I didnt know about and now I have to wait a month for the sequel!

I read in audiobook form, and while I didnt think the narrators sounded excited to be there half the time, the strong writing made up for it. It wasn't even that their voices lacked luster, they just didn't command power, and they were powerful people. Ceos for crying out loud.

Antonio thought with his other head too much, and I'm actually in a small minority who doesn't find Italian men sexy, but his need for consent saved his character for me.

Lauren was a good character, I didnt necessarily connect to her but she was strong in how she displayed how women have to survive and carry themselves in a male dominated industry.

And how cool was it they worked in an industry that put people in space! That was so different, everyone works in the same fields in romance and while it was confusing at first it really painted a different world around the story.

The love scenes were good, but few and far between. More sensual than raunchy. This is romantic suspense than regular romance based on events in the book and that cliffhanger I wouldn't have had an issue with if the blurb had announced it.

Guess I gotta wait for the sequel.
