Love this soooo much

Jennifer Blackstream twists tales wonderfully. Matt addis does an amazing job bringing such real feeling characters to life. If you like paranormal fantasy this is the book for you. Definitely worth a listen or two.

WHY HAVE I NEVER FOUND THE TWO COMBINED BEFORE??!

This book is Cinderella blended fairytale themes - there is something of a reverse Beauty and the Beast in here too with the prince being "blessed" by a witch instead of cursed - ha! Neat twist. UnBeast. And then little things, that I thought couldn't be happenstance - like the Prince's right hand man is Maurice. Coincidence? Maaaybe, but with the layers and nods to different fairytale versions I think not. And I loved that. It was like listening for easter eggs.

The story moved fast, made me laugh, entertained me. Excellent writing, excellent descriptions - here's one: "...His clear blue eyes held all the warmth of an ice sculpture, and all the confidence of a well fed dragon."

Narrator Matt Addis was new to me, but I knew from the sample this was an auditory match for me; perfect voice, spot on intonations/voices for the characters - and the accents! Smorgasbord for the accent lovers. Russian Kirill is one I look forward to hearing in his book =D I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

Cinderella Wolf Style

Great start to the Blood Prince Series. This paranormal romance is a delightful twist to one of the classic fairytales everyone knows and loves. The first book is based on Cinderella. There is also a background story that will probably tie all the books together. Someone seems to be manipulating things so princes find their mates.

Narration was very well done bringing the story to life and keeping you interested and wanting more.

I found Loupe's situation worse than poor Cinderella! Her stepmother is ruthless!

Etienne is a cursed wolf looking for a way to reverse the curse and get back to his old self.

If you enjoy paranormal and mythological tales you will enjoy this new twist on fairytales.

Love comes from anywhere

Brandy Svensson a widow who lost her husband when he was killed in Afghanistan, acquired an unusual ability after she experienced a near-death experience. She's able to communicate with cats, she can hear their thoughts and since her skills as a telepath are limited she usually responds verbally. When she gets information that a cat is lost and may be hurt out near a highway she goes to find it and get help for it. She is surprised when the animal is a baby panther but not one that shes ever seen. With plans to call a zoo to see if one of their animals is missing she takes it home. She can communicate with it are understands that it is a baby.

During the night Brandy wakes when she thinks she hears a baby cry, she finds the panther cub is gone and a baby boy is in its place. Brandy is shocked but takes the child to her room and bathes it. Now she really doesn't know what to do. As a panther it can probably hurt her but as a baby she can't turn it over to a zoo.

The next day a grown panther turns up at her home, she realizes that the baby knows the panther, she can hear it talking, calling it Dak, she's shocked when it (the grown panther) morphs into an adult male who is huge. Dak explains who he is and how he and Favel his nephew got to earth, they need to return to their home world Ferix immediately, or others will think he killed his nephew to become the king because Favel is the infant King of his klatch and needs to be returned home. Brandy provides a temporary home, food and any help she can give.

I loved this story, it was well written and up to her usual standards. I thought Favel was cute and as always the animals were great.

Cranky, stubborn, cougar shifter, Aidan, can't resist equally stubborn and strong activist, Claire. Even if she is fighting for human/shifter marriage rights, falling for a shifter wasn't in the plans for either of them.

I fell for both of them and Chloe, Aidan's young daughter stole the show. They have their work cut out for them with this adorable little trouble-maker.

There is strong steamy chemistry right away--kind of hard to ignore the way Aidan introduces himself. (you'll have to read it , I don't want to spoil it for you)How can she allow any attraction without endangering the cause?spoil it for you)How can she allow any attraction without endangering the cause?

You will not be able to put this down until you find out if they can and if so how can they work it out without endangering her life's work and the law that could change the world for all shifters and humans.

Danger, emotions, loving couples, testing boundaries and some real steam as well as captivating characters give this book all five stars well earned.

Ms. Donovan tempts us with the next one, introducing two more characters that will take us on another bumpy ride.

I prefer the dragon series

Jessie Donovan's dragon series has better world building and more highly developed characters. The Cougar series seems rather flat and uneventful by comparison. It's not bad but I'd like to see more dragon books. The narrator was fine.

I loved this book! It was great to see Aidan get a second chance at love after learning what happened to his mate. Claire was a great character and perfect match, not just to Aidan as a new mate, but to his daughter Chloe as a new mother considering she wouldn't have many memories of her mother given how young she was when Emily (Aidan's dead mate) died.

Can't wait for the next book to get Dani and Nathan's story!

Absolutely LOVED all the Pagan Holidays in this boxset

I loved re-reading some of the books within this bundle from Liv Brywood, I had a couple to read for the first time too. I enjoyed reading them, with no stopping in between. All the stories from Liv's "Sexy BBW Pagan Holidays" series, I'll leave individual reviews for the stories inside.... My only problem with them all, was the size of each story, I feel they could have been longer (but I'm greedy). These stories held me captive from start to finish, leaving me wanting more.

Once I started reading 'Claimed by the Wolf Kings', I was quickly drawn into the story. Standing out in a crowd of lithe, petite virgins, offering up their bodies for the ancient ceremony, to ensure the fertility of the land & animals... Kendra stands out to the Wolf Kings once they arrive. There is just something about the buxom witch that draws the kings to her, they'd never seen someone with the body of a goddess before...

Midsummer Night's Alpha (book 2)....

Once I started reading 'Midsummer Night's Alpha' I was quickly transported into the story.

What did you like best about this story?

i enjoyed the short series and how the characters interacted. They fell for each other quickly , but the outcome would have been the same regardless, because they were put together for marriage and procreation purposes.

Forgettable

Would you try another book from Yamila Abraham and/or Rose DeMarco?

No. For me this book had no really good story behind it. She get's kidnapped. Her alien hubby looks like a character from labyrinth and they basically fuck all the time and her Eunuch caregiver was abusive and an A**hole. I felt that the main character basically gave up on her own race with a drop of a hat so she could screw her smurf alien hubby...Maybe if her caregiver wasn't castrated and such a douche...there could've been a good possible romantic story between caregiver and kidnapped woman from Earth... She gave up to quickly and had this "I am better then everyone else "

No..just this author in particular. I am very sure she has other books that are better then this one

How could the performance have been better?

More of a storyline then just abuse and sex and kidnapping... the storyline reminded me of an 80's wannabe sci fi porn that my friends and I watched at a bachelor party and the sad part about it is that the 80's sci fi porn had more of a story line then this

The book has such potential! Unfortunetly about mid way she just kinda rolled over and accepted that she's now a Slave. She gave up to the point where she was asking herself if she was good enough for him.

An Awesome Book!

I really enjoyed reading book two in the Werewolves of Forever, Texas series called Wild for Wolves. Sandy Hamilton, Celia Ray & Daniella Monson are on their way back from spring-break heading for college in Austin when Sandy had to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately on the state highway they had not passed anything that even looked remotely like a town. As they are driving they see a paved road in the middle of a field and at Sandy's insistence she has Daniella turn onto the paved road, they passed a couple of houses, but not a town, then they passed the population sign for Forever, Texas and ran right into a small town with businesses on both sides of the road. They spotted Milly's coffee shop and decided to stop and get some lunch and also get a much needed pee break for Sandy. All three girls jumped out of the car and went into the shop, Milly greeted them, took one look at Sandy and pointed to left side of the shop, indicating the rest-room location. The other two girls sat down and scanned the menu, till Sandy got back, then they all ordered grilled chicken with vegetables since that was the only healthy choice they could find. While sitting and chatting over lunch we the readers have just found out that Sandy is very shy and never takes the initiative to attract the male species, so she is thrust into excepting a bet the first guy to walk thru the door she will have to flirt with and get him to take her out. The counter bet if Daniella looses she has to take off all her clothes at noon and streak thru the frat's court-yard. So Sandy takes the bet from Daniella and not two minutes later, does three young gentleman walk thru the door of the coffee shop, and let me just say they are drop dead gorgeous. Luke Braxton his cousin Will Braxton and their friend and partner Mark Colter, the first thing they do is smell their mate, and she happens to be with to gorgeous women. Will walks right up to the girls table takes a big sniff and sits down next to Sandy, they start to crowd Sandy and asking her all sorts of questions. She's so taken back by their attention she can hardly believe they are into her, usually men are interested in Daniella, but that is so not the case this time. Read this book because it will make you laugh, cry and cum a whole lot.

Horrible narrator!!

I actually liked the story. The narrator however was horrible. She was so whinny it was hard to get passed her voice to get into the story. I'm returning it.

Abby, the female lead, has always been drawn to lions and Utah, the male lead, is a Shape Shifter.

One day Utah and Abby are kidnapped and he is tortured by the psycho who killed her parents.

Abby and Utah find a way to escape and that's when the real action starts.

The story line has action, adventure, romance. It is very interesting and written well.

Audrey Lusk did a good job with the narration.
