Great Things Come In...!!!

Kacy was assigned to guard the rich and famous Darren Thorne. His full-time bodyguard who like the rest of the men she met assumed that because she was petite and a woman. She couldn't handle the job.

"He didn't know how wrong he was."

Darren Thorne had made a lot of enemies. There were many of them who wanted him and his family to fail. Apart from being a businessman, he had a secret life as part owner of an academy of elite specialists (assassins, hackers and thieves).

When someone tried to kill him, he and his bodyguard/friend, Marcus Rutledge took care of the threat. In need of a female operative to pose as his girlfriend. Darren turned to the Bad Boy firm for help.

Marcus didn't like the fact that Darren git outside help but he understood why he did it. Meeting Kacy knocked him on his butt. The woman annoyed him in a delicious and tempting way.

She was there not only to protect his boss but to help him as well. When Kacy found herself in the killer's sight, Darren wanted her to think about her own safety.

But she didn't waver as both her and Marcus promised to keep protecting Darren and each other... Loves how the change in their relationship tilted their world.

PINT-SIZED PROTECTOR is the second book in Eve Langlais' BAD BOYS INC series. It was action-packed, intriguing and oh so irresistible. Two thumbs up and a recommendation to get this book.

Loved it

Loved Kacy's and Marcus and their boss Darren. Kacy's is sent by Harry to help his good friend Darren with an assassin problem. Her roll, girl friend to a billionaire. So not the kind of assignment tom boy, kickass Kacy likes.

Then she meets Darren and his body guard Marcus.

Marcus can't believe his bosses friend sent a a punt sized women to protect his boss. Darren isn't worried he knows Academy trained. Marcus's ego take a hit when he realizes his army training pales in comparison to Kacy's academy training. Marcus and Kacy's butt head from the get go, much to Darren's amusement.

Darren isn't what Kacy's expected. He has tie's to the Academy, and isn't exactly helpless. A contract on his head. Betrayal, snipers, exploding cars and an invitation to a meeting of like minded people that is likely a trap, Kacy has her work cut out for her, keeping Harry's friend out of trouble and not falling for his meathead body guard.

Loved Kacy and Marcus. A fun, funny, fast paced and steamy story. Can't with for Darren and Francesca's.

A terrific mix of romantic suspense and humor

Pint-Sized Protector is laugh out loud excitement. The author does a wonderful job of mixing romantic suspense and humor.

Inspiring!

I loved how the author revealed God's sovereignty without sounding preachy. The story flowed smoothly and the characters were very well developed. The situation may be dire but God is faithful and will turn that situation around giving Him the glory. Well done, Ms. Fayla!

A Time to Heal, by Fayla Ott

I read this book yesterday and the day before! I couldn't put it down. I started in the evening of the first day, so I finally had to go to sleep and wait for the next day to finish it. I thought as I began reading the pages that it would be a story with a happy ending. I like happy endings. Enough of life is sad. Yet, if the end seemed predictable to me, why did I keep turning the pages? I canât explain. It was the middle that hooked me the most. Authors sometimes have trouble with the middle, but Iâm sure Fayla Ott did not. She blessed me with every page. Here it is: Have you ever been disappointed in God? Has some tragedy or shame caused you to doubt Godâs love for you, personally? Have you ever wanted to strike back at God for His seemingly obvious failure in your life? Have you ever been that angry at God? I once was. The main character in this book was, too. Itâs a war you know from the start youâre not going to win, but you canât help yourself! Have I made you curious? Read Faylaâs book. It will bless your heart.

It kept my interest enough to finish the book but I found I could put it down easy enough. The story line was predictable

I just finished the book A Time To Heal. Although it was an interesting book, it was not a page turner. It kept my interest enough to finish the book but I found I could put it down easy enough. The story line was predictable. The characters religious beliefs came off as preachy. I am comparing the writing of the Janet Oak books to this book. A very difficult task, religious but not preachy. I was also hoping for more of a character of the little girl.

Over all, a cute love story book with large print and easy to read.

Wonderful story

A wonderful Christian fiction book. I could not put it down. Luke and Rachel's story is so real. I have felt a lot of their feels and could relate to them. God's mercy and grace is shown so well in this book. The love of God for us was also shown even when we are angry, can't think we can trust him and not believing that he cares and thinking how could something good come out of this. So glad I got this and will tell my friends about it. thank you for writing such a wonderful book.

loved it!!

this was a brilliant story. Such anger following his injury and Des trying to hide her own pain made for some really interesting interactions. Great chemistry between Hammer and Des too. Also a few really touching moments. A good listen well worth the time.

Unique plot - Easy to love characters

Loved this book! Very different story than I've ever read before. When her twin sister is murdered before her eyes, Allison was sent to Hawthorne psychiatric hospital where she meets Dr. Daniel Delgado. An unusual relationship begins between the 2.

Lots of Twists and Turns!

WOW! Come Closer was my first Brenda Rothert book, but it wont be my last! Its a unique story, a forbidden romance and a romantic suspense all rolled into one and I loved it!

Dr. Daniel Delgato is a tattooed ex military doctor who took a job running a remote mental hospital in Montana because as an alcoholic, he needed to stay away from any and all temptation. The hospital has three different levels, including one for the criminally insane, and Dr. Delgato is a wonderful, caring physician to them all.

When the beautiful Allison Cole is committed, Dr. Delgato is the only one who connects to her. She hasnt spoken since her sister was brutally murdered right in front of her.

Daniel knows what I need without words, because that's how he got to know me. He cared enough to learn my signals and read me.

There was a magnetic connection between them, but of course, as her Doctor, neither acted on the attraction, but instead looked forward to a time when they could be together. It is very much a slow burn romance, but I loved watching it build up.

There's something much more than that between us. This yearning doesn't come so much from my body as from my soul. No man has ever looked at me this waywith such deep longing to have me just as I am. Even when I had a lot more going for me, I never felt as worthy as I do with Daniel.

Then story became an awesome romantic suspense which I totally wasnt expecting and LOVED!

Likes:

Completely unique storyline.

A caring and wonderful Doctor.

A slow-burn romance.

I loved both characters and the supporting ones as well.

Exciting and suspenseful.

Twists and turns.

Sexy and addicting.

Dislikes:

The title for some reason just feels too bland for this sexy, swoony adventure.

The Narration:

Lee Samuel and Kristen Leigh were both perfect. I will be looking for more from this duo.

One of my favorite narrators

I think there are some books you curl up with in a corner on a quiet afternoon and just enjoy and this audiobook was just that book for me. Its definitely a great listen. The narrator did an incredible job bringing all the characters to life.

Wonderful series!

Again, Ken Solin is amazing. I could listen to him all day!! And the series is the greatest!

Hero worship & true love. A great combination.

This is a wonderful love story. She has always hero worshipped him since she was a little girl and he has always felt protective over this little sister of good friend of his. The story of their romance is well developed with a Dom spin. This book definitely showed why he is Her Hero.

Seriously sexy and heart warming

I love this series, Jane Henry and Maisy Archer did a wonderful job of creating a believable cast of characters, a family of choice. Donnie and Grace so belonged together. So happy they got their HEA. Ken Solin did a great job narrating.

My first Boston Dom

I listened to the audio version of this book, but there is currently not a choice for that.

This is the first book of this series that I have "read". I am not sure how I feel about the accuracy of the Dom/Submissive thing that is portrayed here, but the story was good. I want to read more books in the series and learn about the other members of Donnie's "family."

Donnie is the manager of a new location of a BDSM club in Boston that is currently being renovated. He is pretty happy with his current lifestyle and likes his new job, his friends, and his motorcycle. He has changed his life drastically since his youth as an enforcer working for his uncle, and only has one regret - Grace. This story may be okay, if you know nothing about the Amish, but it didn't work for me. Aaron's behavior just doesn't read "Amish." Most of my own research has focused on Old Order Amish, and that may be why, but I think this is a story for those who like those Amish "reality" T.V. shows that portray "Amish lite" rather than for someone who wants a story about real Amish people.

A very quick read

A sweet quick read. It had the right type of ending but the story seemed too quick or condensed. Seemed better suited for a magazine than a book or perhaps in a set.

Monica Marks - touches on a sensitive subject and I think did well with it. However the duplicate paragraphs and misspellings distracted from this book. I'm sure glad it was a freebie for the day. I hope Monica has this book reworked so other readers can gain a better experience from reading it.

Lots of typo & grammar errors

The grammar & typos need to be sweiously checked. Also duplicate words. It takes away from the book. It would have better, if it had been longer. The storyline wasn't there.

Heart Warming

I really enjoyed this story. It is well written and will touch your heart. A definite reminder not to judge others.

Like Lucy, he hasn't let go of the past yet, which causes him to make snap judgments and shaky decisions at times.
