    Publisher's Summary:
Acclaimed writer Margo Rabb's Kissing in America is "a wonderful novel about friendship, love, travel, life, hope, poetry, intelligence, and the inner lives of girls", raves internationally best-selling author Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love).
In the two years since her father died, 16-year-old Eva has found comfort in reading romance novels - 118 of them, to be exact - to dull the pain of her loss that's still so present. Her romantic fantasies become a reality when she meets Will, who understands Eva's grief. Unfortunately, after Eva falls head over heels for him, he picks up and moves to California without any warning. Not wanting to lose the only person who has been able to pull her out of sadness - and, perhaps, her shot at real love - Eva and her best friend, Annie, concoct a plan to travel to the West Coast to see Will again. As they road trip across America, Eva and Annie confront the complex truth about love.
In this honest and emotional journey that National Book Award finalist Sara Zarr calls "gorgeous, funny, and joyous", listeners will experience the highs of infatuation and the lows of heartache as Eva contends with love in all its forms.

    Loved it
Couldn't put it down, once I started. Great story. Not predictable at all. Highly recommend
    Entertaining for the most part
The storyline was good but the outcome was predictable. Love Laura Knight Keating - her performance was why I continued to listen.
    Not for adults
If you are under 21 you may enjoy this. Anyone with life perspective will find it trite.

    Awesome read!!!!
This was an awesome read. I don't normally read YA fiction but when my youth group wanted to read something with a little more edge than what they've been reading, we turned to this author and Crystal's Crush did not disappoint. It was an amazing thrill ride with Crystal and Ty as they face the twist and turns that life sometimes throws us.
It is age appropriate reading with a lot for youth groups to discuss. How do you balance home, school, personal life, family, friends and still try to cope when things get crazy. It's not easy. But with a little love and a whole lot of trust, these two set off to take on the world together.
Great job Sparkle!! I hope we get a chance to see Crystal and Ty again in another story. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Love it the author did her thing I felt bad ...

Another successful VIRAL story line! Ahh, I bet the next one, has Chance and Ella hand in hand! Now, there is a very large PACK.
    Terminal. Final book of 5
I just really enjoyed this story. I was sad by the ending, I wish there had been a lovely surprise at the end. I've enjoyed all of these books in the VIRALS series.
    GRIPPING
As always this is beautifully narrated by Cristin Milioti with fab voice distinction adding significantly to the story line. This woman is an amazing artist. When you combine this with the ever skilful writing in this series it is another winner. No spoilers here but if you have read or listened to the previous books in this series you don't need me to tell you to carry on to this one. If this is the first Virals book you have considered I recommend you treat yourself and start at the beginning - I don't think you will be disappointed
    Easy listening. great escapism.
By no means Shakespeare, but very light and enjoyable. I know it written for teens but cheers me up and let's me escape real life for a few hours.
    Good author terrible reading
Why on earth does every speaker need to be identified by their initials before their speaking part. I barely listened to all the first chapter as It started driving me nuts.

    Publisher's Summary:
Two funny, smart, but hopelessly lost teens find love at CVS.
Abram and Juliette know each other. They've lived down the street from each other their whole lives. But they don't really know each other - at least not until Juliette's mom and Abram's dad have a torrid affair that culminates in a deadly car crash. Later, when they see each other, it's uncomfortable, to say the least. They don't speak.
Fast forward to the neighborhood pharmacy, a few months later. Abram is on Paxil. Juliette is on Adderall. Abram decides to say hello. Then he decides to invite her to Taco Bell. To both of their surprise, she agrees. And the real love story begins.
At turns poignant, funny, and insightful, this compelling novel proves that love can emerge from pain and ultimately triumph.

    Finding Mr Brightside
There are some books that capture you from just the synopsis, Finding Mr Brightside was one of those books, I was fascinated by the way that Juliette and Abram know of each other, Juliette's Mom and Abram's Dad were having an affair and subsequently died together in a car accident, and while they've lived down the street from each other all of their lives they've avoided personal contact, until the night they run into each other at a pharmacy, it's from this encounter they begin to spend a lot of time together and ultimately find kindred spirits in each other having both gone through the same thing.
This story was so funny, heartwarming and cute, I adored it and finished it in one sitting and wanted to reread it immediately then and there it was just so good.
This may just be one of my favourite books of the year so far.
For those who love their contemporary romances with an original storyline, then you need to pick this one up.
A book for people who love YA books
This was a charming, well-written book full of complex characters. I loved both Juliette and Abram. The story drew me in without being overly histrionic; though the plot could have led to wildly out-of-control YA book angst, Mr. Clark managed to make the story emotional and compelling without falling into tired tropes and cliches.
I wish this book had more reviews...it should be read by everyone who loves YA books, unless you're only in it for sex (which is only briefly mentioned). Then you probably won't like this book, so you should go back to the badly written crap that gets hundreds of 5 star reviews for no apparent reason. I would put this up at the same level as Eleanor & Park. Kudos, Mr. Clark. Please, please write more.
One of My Favorite Reads of 2015
This is easily one of my favorite books of 2015. A great story with great voices. I rarely like storytelling that involves alternating voices, but this works so well because the voices are two distinct people. Laugh out loud funny at times and heartbreakingly poignant at others, I've recommended this book to everyone I recommend books to. I fear it's gotten lost in the crowded YA field, but I genuinely hope it finds a few more readers. Just a terrific book.

    Enticing
Awesome continuation of the watched trilogy by Hogan. As faster as it would've been reading the actual paperback book on my own, I very muched enjoyed hearing it read aloud. It have more character to the story.
Teen Girl Finds Her Calling at Spy School
    Any additional comments?
Created by Cindy Hogan is an adventurous YA novel that is well written, fast paced, and consistent throughout. The story focuses on 17-year-old Christy, who despite being in the FBI's witness protection program was tracked down and almost killed, so the FBI relocates her to Belgium. The majority of the story takes place here, inside a private spy school where most of its students started attending since they were 5 years old. Because of her brilliance and innate ability to know the right way to go, as well as when danger is near (I think of this as her 6th sense superpower), Christy quickly completes most of the curriculum and is assigned her first real mission.
I listened to the Audible version of this story narrated by Laci Morgan who did an outstanding job. Laci portrayed Christy as a very likeable young lady surrounded by unbelievable events. Laci had great intonation and pace, keeping the story suspenseful throughout. She had differing voices for male and female characters, and expressed urgency when appropriate. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audio book!
Created is the third book in the Watched series. Although this is a stand alone, I think you'd have a better understanding of what's going on if you read or listened to Protected first (I still have not read the first book and it was very easy to understand the story line starting with book #2). Despite receiving a copy of this book in exchange for a review, I loved this book so much I listened to all 9 1/2 hours in only two days. Highly recommended!
Hold on tight! They just keep getting better
I couldn't stop listening. Non-stop action and adventure and the romance. Swoon. So glad Christy has found her way. I hope there will be more Christy books

Psychic flashes, haunting visions, missing persons, and visits from ghosts. That's just their first date.
Jack has been getting on his parents' nerves for some time. Bad enough he's a rock musician, has crappy grades, and hangs out with his "loser" friends. But Jack's ability to predict the future - well, that just annoys the hell out of them.
Jack's classmate, Lauren, is said to have unique abilities too. The town still talks about when she kept badgering her mother about the money in their wall. For the longest time, Lauren's mother didn't listen. Finally, she did and Lauren's mother hasn't had to work since.
Jack would really like to connect with Lauren but can't figure out how. She's never looked at him twice. But when he experiences a mystifying event involving visions, voices, and spectral visits, Jack figures there's only one person to help him understand who's calling out to him and why. Before long, Jack and Lauren are off on a road trip of discovery that could provide answers to a mystery left unsolved for 20 years. More importantly, they might even unravel the greatest mystery of all - how every so often someone will accept you for who you are.
    Members Reviews:
Great book! So excited that it came out in audio!
What did you love best about Streetlights Like Fireworks?
The story grabs you from the beginning. It is unique in that there are not so many books out there with a psychic twist.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jack and Lauren were both great, but my favorite was Jack. I felt like I knew and understood him better.
What about Adam Verners performance did you like?
I think his voice is a good fit for the tone of the book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely - and I did on long a car trip!
    Any additional comments?
    Overall very enjoyable!
Journey with your heart and sense of adventure
If you could sum up Streetlights Like Fireworks in three words, what would they be?
    Touching, nostalgic, and fun.
What does Adam Verner bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
Personality to less-developed characters and a bit more real-ness to scenes that connect the dots.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yeah. The story really drew me in and I wanted to keep listening.
    Any additional comments?
Rock and roll, the thrill of a new romantic relationship, the mystery of a deep connection that MUST be explored, and a road trip to cool city after cool city. David Pandolfe writes rich characters in interesting predicaments, the results of which I just HAVE to know. Loved Jack and Lauren, and their journey.
    Really loved it!
Would you listen to Streetlights Like Fireworks again? Why?
Yes! The story has so many wonderful twists and turns that even knowing the ending wouldn't ruin a second listen.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Streetlights Like Fireworks?
The ending, which I will keep to myself!
    Which scene was your favorite?
The ending is such a wonderful surprise, but I also loved the adventure of the journey the characters go on!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. Also I read it just about all in one sitting before that!
    Any additional comments?
David Pandolfe is a truly fantastic author.

Juliet Newman has it all. A picture-perfect family; a handsome, loving boyfriend; and a foolproof life plan: ace her SATs, get accepted into Harvard early action, and live happily ever after.
But when her dad moves out and her mom loses it, Juliet begins questioning the rules by which she's always lived. Suddenly it's difficult for her to remember why she cared so much about rocking Latin exams or snagging elite internships--or if her family was ever as happy as she thought they were. And then there's Declan, the gorgeous boy who makes her feel alive and spontaneous--and who's totally off-limits.
Torn between the life she always thought she wanted and one she never knew was possible, Juliet begins to wonder: What if perfect isn't all it's cracked up to be?
    Members Reviews:
    Loved it until the end
Loved it until the end, leaves way to many open doors for me, I like closer at the end of books, this left way to much guess work.
    Better Than Perfect
    3.5 stars
(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to HarperCollins and Edelweiss.)
17-year-old Juliet has the perfect boyfriend and a perfect life planned with him, until her mother tries to commit suicide, and she ends up in the arms of Declan, a boy with a guitar and a band.
Can a perfect SAT score lead to a perfect life? And is a perfect life really what Juliet wants?
This was a good contemporary story, about one girls struggle to find what she really wanted from life, but it wasnât better than perfect.
Juliet was someone that I could really relate to. I felt sorry for her and the position her mother put her in, and I also felt her confusion and pain over whether her life was really heading in the direction she wanted it to. I personally felt under a lot of pressure to go to university as well so I really sympathised with her.
The storyline in this was pretty good. There were so many things going on in Julietâs life for her to try and cope with, and I liked how the whole book didnât revolve around the romance, although I have to say that Declan was so sexy! How this girl was supposed to choose between her boyfriend of 4 years and Declan was quite beyond me!
On the minus side, it was wrong of her to cheat the way she did, and to not really get caught doing it didnât seem very realistic. I totally expected her to get caught in the act! I also wasnât a fan of the whole âJ Powerâ thing which Juliet and Jason seemed to say to each other far too frequently, which coupled with the âpinky-linkingâ became a little sickening.
The ending was okay, but I didnât feel like things were really resolved completely. Juliet did make a decision about college, but that was all. I didnât feel like she made a decision about Declan, I didnât feel like she really knew where she wanted her life to go, I just felt like she was delaying things. That may be a realistic ending, I know plenty of people who still donât know where they fit in who are much older than 17, but it just didnât feel like the best ending for the book.

    The Kidnapping at Blackwater Farm
    The Menacing Stranger
    Members Reviews:
    Wonderful narration!
I received this book as a gift and after listening to the narration I would gladly buy the follow up book in the series. The writing draws you into the mysteries that November and her friend Kale just can't seem to pass up. The star here is the narration. After recently listening to a few hours of bad narration of a book I really enjoyed reading, I have a new appreciation for an amazing narrator.
    Entertaining tales of mystery
    Any additional comments?
November Lake book 1 is a collection of 3 novella length stories, that take place over the course of a week, with each story taking place just a few days after each other.
The three novellas are connected by the main Characters, November and Kale, who are young police recruits. And each of the stories is its own self contained whodunnit.
The stories are entertaining enough but the time frame feels a little unrealistic. What are the chances that 2 young recruits would find themselves caught up in the middle of 3 crimes in the space of a week... especially when they aren't 'on the job'
It wont stop me reading November Lake book 2 though.

    Amazing
I loved this little conclusion book to How I Fall. At first, I didn't understand why there were two books. Then, I actually started the second book and I got it. the time gap definitely jsutifies it. This author definitely keeps your attention. I can't wait to read the rest of her books. The narrators were amazing as well. I fullu recommend this book, the author, and the narrators.
Perfect Conclusion to an amazing story.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. Oh Yes! I'd recommend this because it's the same narrators from book one, and it's a continuous story, so you have to find out what happens. I really couldn't see a way out for the characters and I also fell for the new guy a little--because yeah, when you get your heart broken you do need to move on--but as the story unfolded I loved the way it went.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the photography descriptions in this one. The characters are doing a summer photography university class at a university, so of course they take pictures and I really liked being able to see the photos that were taken. That was cool, to read them was great, to hear them come alive in audio just really stayed in my mind. I also loved how things went when Cam came back. The friendship that remained, the way Patrick and Laura were all around Ellen being protective, but also the way Ellen had changed and grown up as well. The plot was also very unexpected--like I'd say more but it will be a spoiler so just it was twisting and turning so it wasn't just about the romance which I liked, too.
What about Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott s performance did you like?
Again, Kai Kennicott how she did Laura London's Irish voice. I have never laughed so loud about a character ever. There were also a couple of really sad scenes and the way Kai read that emotion just was...oh...so great.
