Deep Dark Secrets

I got this book via audiobook boom. The secrets in this story were indeed dark and deep. Two sets of triplets born to be the new rulers of the Bottom. a place where the Others went to after existing alongside humans was no longer viable. Then Victor the villain and his son get into a power play as to who is stronger. While the triplets find out after they are in their early twenties that their parents have lied to them since they were six or seven years old. The narration was very well done except when the narrator said humans. It was said as if there was no h at the beginning of the word. This was consistent throughout the book. Big giant cliffhanger at the end so be prepared. although this was almost 7 hours of listening there is no conclusion. You will have to wait on book 2 to get that.

COMPLEX NEW VAMPIRE WORLD

Any additional comments?

This book was given to me for an honest review.

The story is complex with a lot of characters so the first half was confusing but once the secret was revealed, everything fell into place and it rocked. There was magic and blood and parents and new love and sex and enemies and pain and fear and relief and it all ended in a cliffhanger (darn it).

Deserves a two thumbs up!

Love it!!

Any additional comments?

This audiobook was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

When William and Becca meet they unravel 20 year old secrets. Secrets that protect them and their families until the rightful Heir and Heiress awaken. This book is perfect for all paranormal lovers, I give it 4 stars. Loved the backstory, gave the book more depth. Made the story more understandable. I am impatiently waiting for the next book. I recommend this to all, especially those who like books with things that go bump in the night.

I liked this book but didn't love it.

I was given this book in return for my honest unbiased opinion. I did like the storyline and the narration was ok. I think it just wasn't my thing for the moment. Overall it is worth a credit.

Dark and intense

This book is a fascinating start to a dark and intense vampire series. The plot is unapologetically rich with dark innuendo. Triplet brothers to match triplet sisters with a destiny to launch a war to claim their rightful places as heirs and heiresses to the Below. The catch is, to protect them and hide them from their enemy, their parents take their memories away from them as children.

A wonderful layer added to the Tao Pack

Z is an infiltrator, meaning he tests the security of a pack's boundaries to assess the ease of intrusion. He also evaluates the scouts and other wolves as to their attentiveness and reports to the Alpha. He gives Drew a better rating than the first time but advises of things to improve on. Other than that Drew has a task for him. Find out about one Ripley Greystone and her pack, they are asking for an alliance but there is too much information lacking for an informed decision. Even Z's pack has no information on this pack.Ripley's pack has a successful Rafting Business as such Z books an overnight trip. When he arrives he meets Ripley and realizes she is his true mate. She in turn feels the attraction but he smells human. Everything he brought with him is brand new with no other scent. Her wariness about this newcomer has her following the rafting trip.

From here it just gets better and better. A truly intense mating, and more talks with Drew. A wonderful addition to the Black Hills Wolves series. I hope we get to see more of these wolves in future books.

Some things are worth going through a lot of obstacle's.

Book number five in the series is another five star book

Once again I am having trouble getting the correct number of stars for the book. There should be five stars on the top of the page. I would recommend reading this book in sequence. I read this book first instead of fifth. Each characters had a special talent.

Great Book

I have enjoyed the Love Family series. This book is about Landon. He lost all his men on a mission and has had trouble dealing with the lose and getting back together with his family. In his story he is guarding Alice, a doctor, who was sold as a baby. Now someone wants her dead and Landon has brought her to his hometown and to his family to help protect her. Read Landon and Alice's story as they work together to find out why she was sold, who she really is and why someone wants her dead.

Publisher's Summary:

Veronica Harper was ready to let bygones be bygones. She'd spent enough years fighting tooth and claw to know that nobody won in a drag-out brawl. It was better for all parties to come to the peace table. But being the leader of a Bear Shifter Clan meant many things, the most important of which was to be the kind of leader that the rest of the Clan would follow. That meant never losing face. Even if the person you're staring down is a handsome hunk with more charm than he realizes.

Slade Walker knew things were tense. This Clan rivalry was close to spilling into a war, and he didn't know how many casualties would be on each side. Too many, surely. But these women just wouldn't leave his Clan alone. From the problem with the hives to the fires and now this, someone had to make it clear to them that this was unacceptable. He hoped this would be a simple sit down and parley, but as soon as he laid eyes on their gorgeous leader, he knew he was in over his head.

Members Reviews:

Action packed and fun

Slade walker lived in the ozark mountains with his clan brothers, and their new human mates. He was their alpha and ran the business of bear honey. He was also the only one not mated. As he walked out side to start his day he found the tires on the cars cut.

Darn them women bear shifters! That other clan was driving him nuts. Later he took his men to confront them. Meeting their leader was a surprise dhe was nothing like he thought.

Veronica was shocked to hear Christina had gone against her wishes again and made more trouble but before she could say anything christina's mouth made it impassable to work things out right then with the hot alpha

Action-packed story full of drama! Will veronica get her clan in line again? Or will Christian get them all in a war?.

Fun and fast read!

Slade (BBW Bear Shifter Moonshiner Romance) (120... Becca Fanning

Veronica Harper is leader of the female Bear Shifter Clan who is causing trouble for Slade Walkerâs clan, he has now come to let her know that the trouble she is causing his clan will not be tolerated any more.If she will not cease it could mean war between the two groups. What happens? This is the final book in the 120 Proof Honey series and what an ending.

Great

I'm excited that Slade got his happy ending and with the competition alpha she-bear. The merging of the companies and the merging of the clans is a perfect end to this set of stories. Beth and Robins big reveal was pure genius. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review

Alpha Honey Bear

I liked this story, but did not love it. As with most of Ms Fanning's stories, it is very short and written in a detailed outline style. The female bears are pretty shallow and it is difficult to care about them. Since it is the last of this series, however, I would have read it even without getting it in exchange for an honest review because I wanted to know how Ms. Fanning was going to deal with the mean spirited female bear shifters. There were a few interesting twists in the story that made it interesting by the end.

Well worth the read!

This book is actually a series of books, all inter-related, and is VERY long. It's kept me busy for lots of sleepless nights! The stories are good, all with HAE. Some of them seem to end abruptly, like the author gets to a certain point and just ends it, but they're still quite worth reading.

It's getting good!!! The past 3 books were building up and giving back story to the characters and their abilities. This is definitely a unique vampire series. I have to find the next book!!! I want to know what Narah chooses to become what her destiny has written for her or stop her transformation..

Part 3

Well, now it really is getting more and more interesting. I'm not sure which of "the guys" to root for now. It seems our h is soon to be very lucky. The question is, will she be a lucky human or a lucky vamp? Stay tuned.

Story - interesting

BOOK REVIEW.....

Good story so far. I just wish it had a different narrator. I look forward to continuing with the series.

NARRATOR REVIEW.....

This narrator is awful. She does terrible voices for the characters.

Very Disappointed

I received Book 1 free for an honest review. I have to admit, when I realized that each book was basically a chapter and when you finished each book you had an incomplete story, I bought books 2 and 3. Even more stupid than that, I bought the set that included books 1-6. I just wanted to get the whole story. The worst part of it was the Narrator. She was HORRIBLE. I will never listen to her again. She almost made my stomach sick. Too many pauses. Reading too stilted. Characters' voices were ridiculous. The only voice that was half good was Narah's. About the story, I'm not really sure it was good either. The ending was predictable. It was actually very immature. Could have been written with a little more depth to the characters. I got so confused with the characters that I didn't get the details of the story. I will not put myself through that pain again.

Publisher's Summary:

Happily ever after. These three words annoyed Anita Vasquez to no end. For most women, they summoned images of sunsets over tropical beaches, strolling hand in hand with some handsome masculine perfection. For Anita, as the director of a very popular dating service, these three words were a curse, one that infected the minds of the women she tried to find compatible matches for. Before they even sat down in her office, they already wanted the impossible. It was enough to drive someone crazy, so it was time to take a break from all of that. This Fairhaven Park was a nice enough area, but most importantly it was off the grid. No one would be able to bug her or get under her skin. Not even this six-foot-tall slab of meat park ranger whose muscles must be choking his few remaining brain cells.

Reinicke Best was at the end of his wits with these park visitors. Every year, they seemed to get worse. Less respect for the wildlife (no, you can't take a selfie with a grizzly bear). Less respect for the environment (no, this virgin old wood forest doesn't have a place for you to charge your phone). Less respect for the staff (no, I absolutely will not take your phone to get charged so you can take a selfie with a grizzly bear!). And then there was this newest visitor. Driving along without the common sense to watch where she's going, almost causing a car crash. He had a feeling she was trouble, the kind of trouble you'd have to keep a close eye on.

Accused of a terrible crime she didn't commit, Delphine has been haunting the county since just after the Civil War, and she can't rest until her name is cleared. She's counting on Maeve's help to get to the bottom of the century-old mystery.

It will take both of them to get to the bottom of a 19th century story love story that may impact them more than they realize. Can they banish a ghost without rekindling an old flame of their own?

Members Reviews:

Despite the name it's more of a ghost story

A woman is convicted of crime she did not commit. She is also accused of being a witch by a vindictive person that tries to get her reputation destroyed. Many years later, after her execution, she is still roaming the mountains and cannot rest in peace until her name has been cleared.

Maeve comes home after being gone for several years. She is a lawyer and because she did the right thing in a case, she got fired. She goes hiking on the mountains close to her grandmother's house and sees the ghost of Delphine. The Ghost even tries to talk to her. She decides to dig deep into Delphine's conviction and find out what really happened.

Maeve's old boyfriend, a sheriff's deputy, comes to get her after her grandmother gets hurt and had been taken to the hospital. One thing leads to another and it is hard to ignore their feelings for each other that never went away.

The story is interesting and it goes back between past and present. The past story is told by Delphine. It is pretty easy to distinguish who is telling the story and whether it's present or past. The narrator did a fairly good job bringing the story to life. I heard it in one sitting. It's a fairly short story but the story was complete and moved along well.

Just get in, get the scoop, and get out. Kora Lane stepped out of her air-conditioned car and into the blazing heat of this muggy Ozark valley. Her boss had sent her down here to sniff out a story: a local honey harvester was producing illicit moonshine on the side. The tip came in from an anonymous source, but she never passed up a juicy tip. Now she just had to get past this gorgeous mountain of a man that answered the door.

Amir Thorne was a man with a secret. No matter how low key he tried to play it, there was always a type of woman who could sense it. Usually they took his disinterest as a clear signal to move on. But every now and then, you'd get one that just wouldn't let go. As soon as he saw Kora, he knew what type she was.

It's all fun and games until people get hurt, and there's no telling what will survive the inferno coming for them.

Fun read

Koran lane is a reporter sent on a story about some illegal activity going on in the ozark mountain. What she finds is a hot guy named Amir that makes her think of hot nights in bed with him! Still there had to be something to this story so she sneaks on the property late at night to investigate more and finds a women vandalising bear honey building then that's when the real story is revealed

Lots of action and drama in this one. great characters I just fell for and there is spice too lol.

Shifter fans should love this

The perfect story

Kora just needs the story, sneaking on the property of Bear Honey at night was a gamble , seeing the men turn into bears and getting the story of her life, but realizing she wants Amir and not the story, plus helping catch the person who set their building on fire. That is the story of her life

The reporter and the moonshiner

First things first, I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Kora is a journalist. Her boss comes into her office and tells her he has a story he wants her to check out. He got a tip that someone is running an illegal moonshine company. So, Kora heads out to the Bear Natural Honey Company. When she arrives she meets Amir. She tells him with a name like his, he could be a movie star or a porn star. He just smiles. Kora asks if Amir has any secrets after showing her around the business. He says only one. She never sees anything that would say they run moonshine. Will she find out about the moonshine that is produced there?

Keep thinking they'd get better, but all seem to have been written by ...

Not sure what all the 5 stars are about. Maybe they got further then I did. I got about 1/4 of the way into this. One short story after another, and I mean short. Keep thinking they'd get better, but all seem to have been written by a 16 yr old. Don't like to give bad reviews, but I just can't read any more of this. I read a LOT of books and make a pledge to always finish, but this is one of the very, very few I just feel is a total waste of my time, besides the fact I'm not enjoying what I'm reading, and that is the purpose of reading isn't it? To enjoy the story?

Love This Series!

What a wonderful surprise I found after reading her first book. There were many more stories attatched.

This author writes a quick paced full story with love, codemdy and a bit of angst.
