Listen with Irfan

Vishnu Nagar is a well known poet, writer and Editor. Born and brought up in Shajapur Madhya Pradesh, Vishnu Nagar later shifted to Delhi where he worked with various magazines and newspapers. His journalistic career spanned over four and a half decades of which a major part was spent with The Times of India group of newspapers. His published works contains poems, short stories, satires and essays. After retirement he writes columns for number of newspapers and online portals. His wife Pramila is also a good fiction writer. Their both the sons are working in their respective fields and live outside the Delhi.

This conversation (and his poetry recitation) was recorded by Irfan on 30th May and 1st June 2022 at his residence in Delhi.

Born and brought up in Delhi, Shubham Mishra did his schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Lodhi Estate where Urdu was his third optional language. Later he learned Persian from Iran Culture Centre and honed his writing and reading skills in both languages. He has translated/transcripted and published a number of books from Urdu to Hindi.

By profession he is an Urban Planner.

He has studied from DU, SPA and Geo-Informatie Nederland.

Currently teaching Planning and Architecture in SPA and few other institutes of repute; also pursuing his PhD from Geo-Informatie Nederland

Music is his passion.

Shacha Wangmo is a 20 years old student in a small town of Bhutan. While travelling her country back from Abu Dhabi she spent a day and a half with my family in Delhi. Here is what I talked to her. She also gleefully sang some songs in her sweet and attractive voice.

Irfan in conversation with Shambhunath Shukla (Born 1955) at his residence on 17 May 2022, Delhi NCR

Shambhunath Shukla who has started his journalistic career even before he graduated, worked with Dainik Jagran, Jansatta and Amar Ujala in Kanpur, Delhi, Chandigarh and Kolkata. He is having an experience of active journalism spanned over almost four decades. A keen learner and a social commentator Shambhunath Shukla is now working as a freelance journalist for TV, Digital and Print.
