*TRIGGER WARNING* - I talk about S*ICIDE, so only listen, if you feel in the right mental place to do so. Hello beautiful people, how are you today? This episode is not as fun as usually as it talks about a very serious topic: s*icide. I had been struggling with suicidal thoughts for a long time and my life changed after an attempt in 2020. After my suicidal attempt in 2020 I found a life purpose for myself, something that keeps me alive, even in my worst days.
The littlehappymess Podcast should inspire people to embrace their goofy, unique selves, to accept themselves with all their flaws and TO STAY ALIVE. It helps me to record episodes because it holds me accountable, kind of like showing my audience, hey look, if I can do it, even if it's hard and I struggle, so can you!
We can do this together <3
If you are currently struggling, here are several resources:
Friends/Family/Teacher/Psychologist/Psychiatrist/Neighbour/Colleague/Boss..:
- Tell ANYONE. Talk about it, let someone help you, let someone look for help with you.
- Go to a hospital close to you, go to your doctor, your friends, family, etc.
- Tell them what the thoughts in your head are telling you because someone can tell you that what they say is bullshit - thoughts are never real. We can choose to disbelieve them, no matter how strong they are. You probably wouldn't act on that impulsive thought to throw your laptop out of your window, so why should you act on that s*icidal thought.
