Beth Thomas Cohen is the author of the book titled, “Drop the Act, It’s Exhausting!” a
book that examines what it is like and what it can be like living an authentic life. In
addition to being an author, Thomas Cohen is a publicist who consults with brands
to help them with public relations strategies, social media platforms, general
business branding and more. Her clients include beauty, fashion, fitness brands and
more.
Prior to consulting, Thomas Cohen was the President of B’ Squared Public Relations
in Manhattan. There she launched accessory brands developing PR strategies, social
media platforms, product placement on celebrities and in national publications and
more. Previously she was the Senior Account Director at Lividini & Co., a strategic
brand development, marketing and public relations firm for fashion and accessories
companies. She previously held the position of Public Relations Director at
Lambertson Truex and was responsible for all public relations initiatives which
included placing the designers and their products in magazine, television, movies
and more; in addition to helping them open their own free standing stores across
the United States.
Thomas Cohen began her career in publishing as an Editorial Assistant in the
entertainment department at CosmoGIRL Magazine. Shortly there after moved over
to launch O, The Oprah Magazine where she held the Accessories Editor position.
There she helped coordinate fashion shoots big and small, as well as monthly covers
with Miss Winfrey.
The author who currently lives in Bergen County, New Jersey has a keen sense of
style and an exemplary reputation in the media industry, but her most exciting job
yet is being a mom to her two daughters, Aiden Rae and Lila James. Thomas Cohen
holds a BS in Textiles & Clothing from Ohio State University.
