This week's episode of "Living an Intentional Life Podcast" is just a short update into the reality that our mountain community, the San Bernardino Mountains are facing right now through the "State of Emergency" that was declared due to the "Line Fire" that ignited on Friday, September and 6th and has grown to over 26,000 acres.

Although outside of this reality, I know life is resuming as "normal", yet - it feels deeply in alignment to honor the space and time of our current reality. This is the 2nd state of emergency we've been within the past two years.

Our Running Springs home has been evacuated since Saturday + we are safe in our home in Lake Arrowhead.

A massive thank you to all the incredible first responders who have tirelessly been working on containing the fire + savings the homes + businesses + communities we call ours.

And a huge thank you for the outpouring of love, support, encouragement + checking-in. It is so deeply felt + received.

Then, I move into how to prepare your schedule + the 6 areas to focus on : 

1. Identify who is this schedule for
2. Identify the categories within your schedule.
3. Put in hard dates - appointments, deadlines, schedule put in place by person involved
4. Put in marked off dates, meaning dates where there is nothing on the calendar
5. Root into a roadmap for each week.
6. The more clarity I have around who + what is on my schedule, the more space I know I have to plan for personal + family values + goals we’re working toward

Tune into this weeks episode of “Living an Intentional Life Podcast” as I had the insane honor of sitting in conversation with Maria as she shared her story around a traumatic childhood + how it led her to inner child work + living such an intentional life!

Our conversation does start with a trigger warning as this is a deep dive into a traumatic childhood of her mother attempting suicide multiple times, being a heroin addict and at times being homeless.

Ultimately how this all brought her to this insanely inspiring + intentional place in her life of doing inner child work, giving gratitude for the ability to provide basic needs + oh so much more for her kids while simultaneously grieving what she didn't get to experience and how its all shaping her present truth + reality!

This episode is so beautifully raw, present and expansive! 

About Maria :
Maria is an inner child workshop facilitator, a psychology student at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and has recently started writing her first book which dives into her unique experience with childhood neglect, trauma, addiction, homelessness and perseverance. She has an extensive background in meditation which she has recently started reincorporating into her life with her partner and two children. She's also an artist and a serial entrepreneur who lights up at the chance to brainstorm ideas.

Oh my heart, this week's episode is shared in such deep gratitude + sacredness as I share a massive life update...

We bought a new house in Lake Arrowhead + are selling our first mountain home in Running Springs!
