Today's guest on Local Leaders is Dr. Josh Fergeus, the Vice President of the VLGA and a councillor at the City of Monash.

Josh has a background in social work and a doctorate in foster care and mental health, and is  passionate about social justice and the well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly children in the child protection system.

He is also the CEO of the charity Kevin Hines Grow, which supports people with disabilities and mental health conditions.

Josh believes in the importance of being open and sincere as a political representative and engaging in genuine conversations with the community.

"In the end, it's about making people's lives better however I can."
