Locked on Utes host JT Wistrcill joins Cam Stuart to break down Utah's personnel, the importance of the week two matchup, and what former Bear could have an impact against Baylor on the gridiron.

No, Baylor did not get ranked in the Coach's Poll for the preseason top 25, but that is ok. In recent Bears history, there are several examples where Baylor's success (or lack thereof) during a season has nothing to do with the preseason rankings. Baylor volleyball also added a familiar face to their coaching staff!

Now that Nicki Collen has signed a contract extension with Baylor through 2030, what does she have to accomplish to get out of Kim Mulkey's shadow in the eyes of Baylor fans. The answer may be harsh. Plus, the Bears earned a big-time commitment flip from an SEC offensive lineman!

Baylor Athletics announced a contract extension today for women's basketball coach Nicki Collen which runs through 2030. This contract comes after Collen's deepest NCAA Tournament run in which the Bears advanced to the Sweet 16 before losing a heartbreaker to #1 USC. Plus, Baylor football earned another commitment in the class of 2025, this time via a flip from a Big 12 rival.

Baylor landed a commitment for their fourth composite 4-Star running back for the next two recruiting classes Sunday. Honey Grove (TX) Ryelan Morris is the latest example of not only Baylor's recruiting momentum, but their identity within the Texas recruiting community. Now, it's time for the Bears' current running backs to have a bounce back year and keep the high-profile recruits on board.
