Locked On Mets - Daily Podcast On The New York Mets

The New York Mets had one of, if not the, best outfield in baseball back in 2022, which was a big reason for their winning 101 games.

Last year, the Mets were far worse in the outfield. Can they return to form again in 2024?

Host Ryan Finkelstein breaks down why the Mets struggled in the outfield last year, particularly the regression of Starling Marte.

He also breaks down how the Mets have addressed their needs in the outfield this offseason with Harrison Bader and Tyrone Taylor and how a more defensive-minded approach may get the Mets back on top.
