The Nets started a five game West Coast trip with a rough one against the Kings on Tuesday night, losing 131-118. Brooklyn struggled early to get going in the scoring department and couldn’t keep the Kings off the three-point line all night.

The Nets won their third-straight game, this time against the woeful Wizards and they got a full-team effort. Some of the bigger stories were around the play of the centers Nic Claxton and Day’ron Sharpe who combined for 28 points and 26 rebounds. They were dominant on both ends of the court and some of the main reasons why the Nets won so big.

Mikal Bridges had another good game with 21 points, and Cam Thomas got back on track. In all, this was a drubbing of Washington at home, the way the game should have gone.

The Nets have won five out their last six games and with a west coast trip next week will want to close out the home stand in style.

The Wizards are bad. 3-17 bad. Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole "faces of your franchise" bad.
