Kevin and Ulises continue their ongoing 2020 Tampa Bay Rays player review by analyzing the play of reliever Jalen Beeks and utility player Mike Brosseau.
Some of the talking points:
-What's behind the drastic of improvements of Beeks, before he was shut down in late August due to a torn UCL?
-Brosseau, one of the many heroes of the regular and postseason, again provides steady production at the plate and throughout the infield/outfield. Is he due for more playing time in 2021 and beyond?

What did we learn in baseball this past weekend? A whole heck of a lot.
Locked On Rays hosts Kevin and Ulises react to the Miami Marlins hiring the first female/Asian-American general manager, Kim Ng; Rays prospects tearing up the Dominican League; industry concerns about Brendan McKay's shoulder injury; the only scenario where the Rays should part with Erik Neander; and, MLB's considering allowing fan attendance for the 2021 season.

In recognition of Friday the 13th (in 2020, no less), Kevin and Ulises discuss some of the "scariest" scenarios that would derail the Tampa Bay Rays from having a successful 2021 campaign. Perhaps it's not adding a viable catcher in the offseason? Or, perhaps the injury bug strikes again to the Rays pitching corps? Baseball trivia, also.
(Due to some scheduling issues, we plan to continue the traditional "Ramblin' Rays segment with a guest listener next week and beyond). If you'd like to be a guest co-host, e-mail [email protected] for more information.

Kevin and Ulises start their annual Tampa Bay Rays player review series, where they take a look and break down the play of each impactful player on the regular season/postseason roster. Going in alphabetical order, today they take a look at shortstop Willy Adames and Jose Alvarado.
Some of the questions answered:
-Is Adames a potential trade piece, with the slew of Rays middle infield prospects, namely Wander Franco?
-Is 2021 a make-or-break year for Alvarado, following two subpar campaigns?

In this episode of the Locked On Rays podcast, Kevin and Ulises revisit and tally the many baseball prop bets they made and disagreed on during the 2020 60-game season such as: Will there be .400 hitter? Will Mike Zunino hit above .200? Will Brandon Lowe record more than 75 strikeouts? Find out whether Kevin or Ulises won the much-anticipated podcast prop bet challenge!

In this episode of the Locked On Rays podcast, Kevin and Ulises discuss the lack of transparency of MLB's system for punishment and how easily known cheaters like managers Alex Cora and A.J. Hinch were able to get jobs again following the shortened 60-game season. They also discuss how the Toronto Blue Jays' signing of Robbie Ray to a 1-year, $8 million deal could impact the free ageny market and Charlie Morton's price tag, who should be cast to play Randy Arozarena in a movie, advice on Rays player jerseys to purchase and much, much more!

Baseball America recently released ioutlook on what the Tampa Bay Rays' starting lineup and pitching rotation will look like...in 2024!
And we have some major issues with it. Did the site not take the Rays payroll into account or player contracts into account? Like, it's an all-but guarantee starting pitcher Blake Snell will not be on the roster, not to mention several others.
Instead of complaining, however, Kevin and Ulises offer their more reasonable projections on what a Rays squad in four years could look like, and also get some reaction from Locked On Rays listeners.
