San Antonio's young star returned off the bench after missing the last two games due to a left knee hyperextension, scoring 30 points in 21 minutes but was removed from the game with 3:45 remaining with his team up 98-97 after reaching his minutes restriction.

De'Aaron Fox finished with nine points on 4-18 shooting, including his game-winning shot being blocked by Santi Aldama in the closing seconds. Stephon Castle added 15 points for San Antonio, who returns to action Wednesday in the Alamo City against LeBron James, Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Cam Spencer scored a team-high 21 points for Memphis, including the final five points to seal a Grizzlies' win.
