Jackson Frank of The Athletic and Liberty Ballers joins the show to dive back into the Suns’ 114-109 victory over Philadelphia on Monday night before playing alternate history with us to close the show.
We discuss why Devin Booker always seems to go off against the Sixers, how the Suns were able to contain Ben Simmons, and Philadelphia’s struggles when Simmons isn’t initiating the offense effectively.
We close the show by imagining the butterfly effect of the Sixers not dealing Mikal Bridges. If they never traded him, they might not pull off the Tobias Harris trade, while the Suns would (reportedly) end up with Donte DiVincenzo. On the other hand, maybe Bridges is dealt to the Clippers for Harris and would be playing with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George right now.
This fascinating deal connects the current version of both franchises.

We break down the latest huge victory for the Suns as this team continues to dominate the first few weeks of the NBA calendar. Phoenix took down Philadelphia on Monday, 114-109, to move to 5-2 on the season. Huh!?
Relive the action with us as we explain how the Suns overcame an aggressive Sixers defense and an uncomfortable game rhythm to come away with the win.
This was one of the best games and most memorable nights of Devin Booker’s career considering his efficiency and the team coming away with a win. Has he been an NBA MVP candidate through seven games? We discuss.

The Phoenix Suns flexed their muscles in Memphis on Saturday with a 114-105 victory, and it really wasn’t even that close. Leading by double-digits for most of the game, Phoenix saw contributions from countless players.
Devin Booker and Aron Baynes were the two biggest stars, but a total team effort helped propel them to victory. Monty Williams has the Suns playing their best basketball in years. Will it continue, though? As far as regression goes, we might have seen our first example on Saturday from one player.
We close the show with some quick preview thoughts on Monday’s home bout with the 76ers.

Following the best start to a season in years, why not toss out a spontaneous listener mailbag? And everyone sure did respond, so thanks for that.
We start with the Aron Baynes vs. Deandre Ayton debate. Then, we answered questions on everything from the backup point guard battle to Mikal Bridges' cold start.
Also, is the preseason over/under win total of 29.5 too low for this team now?
Make sure to keep track of our Twitter page for our next mailbag or subscribe if you miss out before we record one. It might pop up at any time!

The Phoenix Suns are the story of the 2019-20 season thus far with their surprising growth on both ends of the court.
With wins over the Kings, Clippers, and Warriors thus far, this team definitely looks like it will be keeping up the competitiveness. But what numbers have the chance of falling off?
We take you inside how Devin Booker, Ricky Rubio, and Aron Baynes highlight the Suns’ resurgence and how head coach Monty Williams has done a masterful job crafting a system around the strengths of his players.
Then, we close today’s show going over shot luck, three-point and free throw percentages, plus the metrics that show how the momentum could continue for Phoenix.

Once again, the Phoenix Suns surprised everyone with another victory, this time in Golden State against the Golden State Warriors at their new arena. What stood out the most as Phoenix improves to 3-2 on the season?
Devin Booker was once again the best player on the floor, while Aron Baynes had arguably the best game of his career. Dario Saric, Ricky Rubio, and Cam Johnson all were solid contributors as well who stepped up to the plate when called upon.
Monty Williams deserves major Coach of the Year buzz if this continues throughout the season. Is it time to start talking about this team as a fringe playoff contender? No, we’re not kidding.

How do the Suns stack up against other young cores around the league? Herring let us know where they currently land in his eyes.
