The Twins are signing J.A. Happ for one year and $8 million. The left-hander is coming off a strong 2020 season with the Yankees and figures to fill in the back of the Twins' rotation for 2021.

Max Kepler was voted Twins Daily's 2019 MVP. The Twins won 101 games with Kepler hitting rockets from the leadoff spot. In 2020, he struggled to really get going, creating some doubt that he'll ever take the next step. What can we expect from the smooth-stroking lefty in 2021?

Corey Kluber terrorized the Twins for years. The man they call "Klubot" finished top 10 for the Cy Young every season from 2014 to 2018, winning the award twice. He's one of the best starting pitchers of this generation. The Twins can't afford him, right? Wrong. Kluber has suffered back-to-back nightmare seasons marred by a broken forearm, an oblique strain and a shoulder strain. He is now a free agent entering his age-35 season following a league-wide revenue crashed season. Could this be the Twins' chance to strike the Hot Stove? YES!

The Twins continue to wait out the market and wait out Nelson Cruz. If Nelly goes elsewhere, the DH spot is vacant, opening up the exciting possibility of adding a former MVP who is likely available in trade on a premium one-year salary. Should they be in on Kris Bryant? Should they just pull the trigger now?

The White Sox have just gotten better. News broke late Monday that they would be signing baseball's best reliever since 2019, former Twin Liam Hendriks. The deal is worth a guaranteed $54 million over three years with a fourth year club option. Hendriks joins a White Sox club that figures to now be the team to beat in the American League Central, pending Twins moves.

Buxton is an electric talent, capable of changing games with every facet of his game. Injuries have plagued the former top prospect's career, though, placing doubt whether he'll ever play enough to make a serious impact on the Twins' pursuit of a World Series. What can we expect from the best defensive centerfielder in baseball in 2021? What does ZiPS see in his forecast?
