Canadians with long-haul COVID-19 are still struggling with symptoms, months after their initial infection, while researchers try to learn more about the problem. We talk to Amber Spence, a PhD candidate in Guelph, Ont., who is struggling with brain fog; Dr. S. Andrew Josephson, chair of neurology at the University of California at San Francisco; and Inez Jabalpurwala, global director of Viral Neuro Exploration, which examines how viruses affect the central nervous system.
