Our group is introduced to the Hilltop people and we hate Gregory right away (he's the new porchdick). Jesus doesn't seem so shady anymore. Clearly Negan is a megalomaniac who thinks he owns everything (but not our people!). I mean, who kills a 16 year old in front of the Hilltop people to "send a message"? Messed up. We get that Abraham loves making himself some pancakes, but couldn't he have just a little more tact? Maggie is basically the new Deanna, and Carl gives Rick his approval. DAWWWW!

In episode 3 of Looking at the Flowers hosts Katie and Amber discuss the Walking Dead season 6 episode 2 that aired Feb. 21, 2016. 

We can't figure out what was up with the super upbeat vibe of this episode. What was up with that?! Does this symbolize the group going soft in their down time? OMG RICHONNE!! IT'S A THING!!! Denise and Eugene are finding ways to contribute to the group and the love connection between Tara and Denise grows. Who knew Rick & Daryl would be the ones in the group to find Jesus? We see now that Carl is more of a man than most and Maggie offers friendship to Enid.

Recorded 3 days after the Walking Dead season 6 premiere, hosts Katie and Amber are able to finally process their emotions in this second episode of Looking at the Flowers. 

This episode of The Walking Dead was packed with intense scenes and unexpected turns. In this episode we discuss why we can't understand Jessie's parenting style, Carol losing his eye (thanks a LOT, Ron!), the significance of the Lone Wolf saving Denise (was Morgan right to save him after all?) and how that may change group dynamics moving forward. Father Gabriel finally stepped up!! Glenn almost died, again, Negan's motorcycle men, and Rick's epic last stand with the Alexandrians finally fighting for their turf.
