This week, I share the story of my almost 20 year relationship with my ex-husband and father of my child, the man I truly believed was my soulmate, and how I moved through total rock bottom when our marriage collapsed.

I share the hard lessons I had to learn about what I was bringing into the relationship that was not working (things like insecure attachment, low self worth, codependency, and victim mentality) and how I healed.

I also share how I learned to love and value myself, moved into secure attachment, learned about boundaries, and unhooked from codependency.  And, how I stopped being a people pleaser and moved into true authenticity. 

I also speak about how I learned to navigate conflict, speak truth, and become an empowered empath.  There's so much more in this episode, too!

Healing from divorce and hard break-ups is 100% possible when we understand that there is wisdom in the wounds and have support people around us who can help alchemize and learn the lessons that we need to learn.

This is the most public I have ever been about my story. 

[Note: I don't get into details of the abuse, but rather focus on the negative affects I faced as a result, and the approach I took to heal.  This is a fairly easy listen, so please dive in.]  

I have learned that a dual approach to healing is required - working both psychologically and energetically - and share why.  

Sexual abuse is a major challenge we are facing collectively, and in order to heal, we need to speak openly and honestly, remove the shame, and get to work.

The energy behind this is a predator that seeks to control and manipulate in order to gain power.  Once you understand this, it gives you a much more complete picture of how to address it.

- How the negative impacts of abuse showed up in my life, both psychologically and energetically
- Dealing with social anxiety, poor boundaries, low self worth, sexual shame, promiscuity, distrust of men, internalized misogyny, and major drug and alcohol abuse

In this episode, I go deeper on the topic of codependency in parenting.

I talk about what codependency is and how it shows up in the parent/child relationship - through a lack of healthy boundaries, enmeshment, over-involvement, and more.  

Codependency in parenting also correlates to permissive parenting.  

Single parents need to be especially vigilant, as codependency can unconsciously cause them to treat the child as their spouse.  They may fill an internal void with the child's life and not give them space to develop their own sense of self.

I speak about the negative impacts codependency in parenting has on children and teenagers, and also speak about energetic cords and energetic standpoint of problems it can cause.

In this episode, I define this concept of sexual sovereignty that I've been speaking about over the past few months, offering a casual chat/intro to this work that I took much deeper on Substack.

Today I cover:

• Just as we are shaped and molded and conditioned throughout our life by external influences, our environment and everything around us, the same thing happens with our sexuality.
• What this means is, for those of us who are interested in getting to the truth of who we really are, the path from the false self to the true self, we should include a deep dive into our sexuality to find out what is true and what is not true for us.
• I don't hear many people talking about this, instead it's just a debaucherous celebration of anything goes and all urges running wild without questioning or caring where some of these impulses came from.
• I understand that there's a collective process happening and some people need to throw off the reigns when it comes to sexuality to explore.
• However, we also need to be aware that the larger forces that be are VERY intent on programming us in a certain direction.
• They are taking advantage of this collective urge and turning it haywire.
• What I see clearly within this is that there is an attack on love, sex, and relationships (I began talking about this in 2021).
• Within this, there is an attack on healthy, stable, long term monogamous relationships.
• And, there is an attack on God.  because all of this is very anti-life and anti-God.

In this powerful conversation with Khatija Dadabhoy, we speak about our undying love and devotion to men collectively, seeing their greatness and welcoming them into their greatness, despite both of us having very difficult and hurtful experiences with men.

We share our stories around relating with men, starting from childhood, why we feel like women still have faith despite being hurt, and what our grand visions are for the future of the relationship between men + women.

We also speak of:

• Our inner longing for redemption 
• Our desire keeps it alive, this continued search for union with men
• Women needing to be clear about what they really want from men - we are sending confusing mixed signals
• Men not trusting women’s word - how many women are not truthful and transparent in relationship about what they want, need, etc.
• The problem of men shapeshifting into what women want - instead, knowing who he is and operating from that place (and how this actually makes him trustworthy)
• Men stuck collectively in an immature dynamic, not fully mature men.  What is preventing them from growing into a full grown man taking responsibility, etc?  Lack of male initiations as in the past, and strong male mentors?
• Women:  checking our rescuer/caretaker (fine line between inspiring him and controlling him)

I'm so happy to share this conversation that I had with my friend Katrina Hart, talking about the journey of evolution through integrating and working with the inner masculine (Carl Jung refers to this as animus integration).

This episode is for any woman who wants to learn more about working with the inner masculine for overall balance and harmony - both within herself and with relationships with others.  We speak about the importance of discernment, boundaries, logic, courageousness and overall strength.

In this episode, I speak about this huge problem that I see with the women who come to me for support - they continually get themselves involved with men who do not treat them very well.  The sexual attraction to these "bad boys" is so strong that despite their best intentions, they get pulled in and mixed up in very unhealthy relationships.

I talk about why this problem is so widespread, what we can do to rewire our sexual attraction so that we desire healthy, stable partners, and how to begin deconditioning ourselves from the programming that has influenced us around what traits are desirable in men.  

I also speak about the link between sexual abuse and trauma and how healing these wounds can help heal your sexuality by removing the mixed up abuse and sexual energy so that you can experience relationships filled with love and support while reclaiming your right to have a fulfilling sex life.
