Tips to help you navigate the journey as the low maintenance friend and improve your friendships:

1. Be honest with yourself and your friends about how you can extend yourself.
2. Extend grace to yourself and your friends when discussing your needs.
3. Be prepared for the feedback you receive. Don't take it personally. Try to understand that they're operating from their viewpoint. What they're saying is a reflection of how they feel.
4. Be open to making changes in your approach. Don't be afraid to being open to a new process or communication style. Boundaries are not walls.
