  • Lynn Logic – Episode 37: Love Worthy / Toilet Seat Etiquette

This episode is a two-parter, because apparently that’s how my brain works.

In the first half, I say something that’s hard to admit out loud: I don’t think I’m worthy of love. I unpack what it means to love deeply, give freely, and still struggle to believe it when someone says they love me back. We talk self-esteem versus confidence, overthinking, rambling, therapy (or avoiding it), and the strange contradiction of being raised with a lot of love but not knowing how to receive it. It’s honest, vulnerable, a little funny, and very Lynn Logic.

Then—because emotional heaviness needs balance—we pivot hard into an age-old debate: toilet seat etiquette. All lids down. Period. This section covers hygiene, chivalry, biology, jumpsuits, 3am bathroom trauma, and why men insisting on debating this topic is truly baffling. There are science facts. There are insults. There is a rooster impression. You’ve been warned.

As always, I bring my full context with me: widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, survivor of a brain blood clot, 25 years in accounting and operations, a BA in psychology, a new microphone, and a lifelong love of patterns, categories, and calling bullshit when I see it.

Come for the introspection. Stay for the toilet seat rant.

  • Lynn Logic – Episode 36: Ghost / Soul Tired

Lynn Logic – Episode 36: Ghost / Soul Tired

Yes, I skipped an episode number. No, I’m not fixing it. Because… only human.

In this episode, I talk about being soul tired—not physically exhausted, but worn down from being a giver in a world full of takers. This is about time, self-awareness, waiting on people who don’t respect your time, and what happens when the give bucket is full and the take bucket is empty.

We get into emotional labor, chronic complaining, road rage (use your damn turn signal), and the quiet narcissism of making other people wait. I unpack how self-sacrifice—especially when paired with love—can slowly turn you into a ghost in your own life: present, reliable, invisible.

This episode is reflective, blunt, funny, and tired in that deep way sleep doesn’t fix. It’s about noticing patterns, setting limits, and realizing that people claiming confusion were often just not paying attention.

As always, I bring my full context with me: widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, survivor of a brain blood clot, 25 years in accounting and operations, a BA in psychology, and a lifelong obsession with patterns, numbers, and calling bullshit when I see it.

If you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or emotionally transparent—this one’s for you.

Hit like and subscribe—because apparently my self-esteem depends on strangers on the internet.

  • Lynn Logic – Episode 38: Dear White People / Dear Black People

Lynn Logic – Episode 38: Dear White People / Dear Black People

In this episode, I wade directly into uncomfortable territory—race, language, behavior, and the quiet (and not-so-quiet) ways people tell on themselves. This piece was inspired by a story my friend Stella shared with me about dealing with a racist coworker, and it turned into a broader conversation about awareness, accountability, and learning when to shut the hell up.

    First, Dear White People:
We talk about words that are not ours to use, why whispering certain words is a dead giveaway, and how “but it’s in the song” is not the excuse you think it is. This part is blunt, unapologetic, and very clear—because clarity matters.

    Then, Dear Black People:
This isn’t a lecture—it’s more like tips and tricks for white people, with a side of self-awareness, humor, and cheese. Yes, cheese. We talk about tokenism, curiosity versus ignorance, food, culture, and what it actually looks like when someone is trying to learn instead of perform.

As always, I bring my background into it—widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, survivor of a brain blood clot, 25 years in accounting and operations, BA in psychology, and a lifelong love of patterns, categories, and calling bullshit when I see it.

This episode is funny, uncomfortable, honest, and very Lynn Logic.

If you’re still whispering the word “black,” you probably need this episode.

  • Lynn Logic – Episode 39: Quality, Difficult Woman, and Pillow Dowry

Lynn Logic – Episode 39: Quality, Difficult Woman, and Pillow Dowry

    Hi! Lynn again.
Apologies for the brief disappearance—I lost my voice. Like a sea witch stole it. (Relax. It was Ursula.)

Episode 39 is layered, reflective, and very Lynn Logic. We talk about quality over quantity, what it really means to know yourself, and why being underestimated is actually a strategic advantage. At 46—widowed, temporarily voiceless, and very clear on who I am—I reflect on what I value now: better conversations, better people, better love. Not more. Better.

We also get into the reality of being a difficult woman—why it’s not a flaw, why “easy” is often misunderstood, and why intelligence, intention, and self-awareness tend to intimidate people with fragile egos. There’s humor, edge, confidence, and some well-earned mockery.

And because this is Lynn Logic, we end with a family story—specifically, a 150-year-old pillow passed down through generations. Yes, an actual pillow. Yes, it’s being added to a will. No, I am not emotionally prepared for my pillow dowry. Hahaha.

This episode is thoughtful, sharp, funny, and unapologetic—about knowing your worth, honoring your voice (even when it’s gone), and choosing quality love in all its forms.

Hit follow. Hit subscribe. Give me that quality love.

  • Lynn Logic – Episode 40: Notes for the Trolls

Lynn Logic – Episode 40: For The Trolls

    Hi! Lynn again.
This episode is for the trolls.

Episode 40, For The Trolls, is my official response to negative comments—so I don’t have to keep responding ever again. I’m not feeding hatred, I’m not giving you my energy, and I’m definitely not engaging in drive-by yelling from people who don’t know me. This episode is the response.

If you’re new here, quick recap: I’m the widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, a survivor of a blood clot in my brain, and a lifelong chaos magnet who still loves to laugh. With a 25-year career in accounting and operations, a BA in psychology, and an obsession with patterns, numbers, and categories, Lynn Logic is where lived experience meets brutal honesty.

In this episode, I talk about growing up bullied, reclaiming words, surviving trauma, grief, abuse, and loss—and why strangers screaming opinions in comment sections says everything about them and nothing about me. We get into perspective, judgment, assumptions, and why context actually matters.

    This is not a clapback.
    This is a boundary.

If you’ve ever been bullied, misunderstood, judged from a snippet, or told who you should be by someone who hasn’t lived your life—this one’s for you. And if you’re here to troll? Congrats. You just gave me watch hours.

Hit follow. Hit subscribe. It’ll piss off the trolls.

  • Lynn Logic – Episode 41: The Eye Doctor

Lynn Logic – Episode 41: The Eye Doctor

    Hi! Lynn again.
For this episode, I tried to do something light and normal—like going to the eye doctor. Naturally, it went exactly how you’d expect it to go for me.

Episode 41 is a tale of two eye exams at the same company, with very different doctors and very different experiences—one a full 1-star nightmare, the other a genuinely lovely 5-star redemption arc. Because of course that would happen to me.

If you’re new here, quick recap: I’m the widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, a survivor of a blood clot in my brain, and a person who seems to live under Murphy’s Law—but still loves to laugh. With a 25-year career in accounting and operations, a BA in psychology, and an obsession with patterns, numbers, and categories, Lynn Logic is where everyday experiences turn into unexpected case studies in humanity.

In this episode, I read both Google reviews I left—one brutal, one glowing—and talk about what happens when you’re treated like a problem instead of a person… and how wildly different the outcome can be when kindness, competence, and basic humanity are present. There’s PTSD, anxiety, bangs that time forgot, unexpected kindness, and the realization that the doctor—and the location—absolutely matter.

Same company. Different doctors. Totally different universes.
Moral of the story? Check the location… and maybe the bangs.

If you enjoyed this emotional rollercoaster of an eye exam, hit follow, subscribe, and wish me luck with both my vision and my sanity.

  • Lynn Logic – Episode 42 - Bunny

    Lynn Logic – Episode 42 - Bunny

    Hi! Lynn again.
This episode is full nerd mode—and I regret nothing.

Episode 42 (yes, that 42) features a very special guest: my best friend Bunny. It is extremely Douglas Adams, wildly on-brand, and absolutely for her. Bunny and I met 25 years ago at Warren Wilson College and bonded the way women do—through chaos, honesty, and shared survival. Since then, we’ve had adventures. Some questionable. Some life-changing.

Quick recap if you’re new here: I’m the widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, a survivor of a blood clot in my brain, and a lifelong chaos magnet who still loves to laugh. With a 25-year career in accounting and operations, a BA in psychology, and an obsession with patterns, numbers, and categories, Lynn Logic is where logic meets lived experience.

In this episode, Bunny joins me to share one of the most pivotal moments of our friendship—a road trip to Texas in 2012 that taught us both what adulthood actually means. We talk about friendship, responsibility, survival, and how sometimes you add fun around the hard things just to get through them.

You’ll also get to hear about Bunny’s incredible 3D printing business, Gifted3D, and why she’s been someone I’ve always looked up to (emotionally—she’s much shorter than me).

If you laughed, cried, or felt like the third friend in the car with us, hit follow, subscribe, and ride along for the next Lynn Logic adventure.
It’s safer than actually being in the car with us.

  • Lynn Logic – Episode 43: Confessions to My Mom

Lynn Logic – Episode 43: Confessions to My Mom

    Hi! Lynn again.
This episode is exactly what it sounds like—and somehow worse.

In Confessions to My Mom, I finally come clean about the things I never told my mother… until now. The confessions escalate quickly, there are two strategic apologies woven in to soften the blow, and yes—she heard all of this before I hit record. (Mostly.)

Quick recap if you’re new here: I’m the widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, a survivor of a blood clot in my brain, and a lifelong chaos magnet who somehow still loves to laugh. With a 25-year career in accounting and operations, a BA in psychology, and an obsession with patterns, numbers, and categories, Lynn Logic is where humor meets survival.

This episode includes questionable childhood decisions, sibling crimes, nunchucks, raves, a hamster, stolen cars, and a whole lot of honesty. It also includes Banana—my mom—who raised a chaos child and lived to tell the tale.

Hit play if you survived your own stupidity.

  • Lynn Logic — Episode 44: Adventures of the Chaos Lady (and Mr. Hayes)

    Hi. Lynn again.

In this episode, I’m fresh back from a two-week road trip through DC and New York with Mr. Hayes — and if you know me, you already know nothing about this trip was normal.

This episode is about choosing joy, finding beauty in chaos, and surviving life by laughing at it.

    We cover:
    • Why I packed lightbulbs for a road trip (yes, really)
    • Falling on my knee in Washington, DC — and immediately getting back up
    • Scooters, no-no zones, rats, protests, and questionable city planning
    • The Washington Monument as an aggressively symbolic structure
    • Arlington Cemetery, grief you can feel in your bones, and perspective
    • Seeing Mr. Hayes perform live — and why he’s funny as hell
    • First real adult experience of New York City
    • Central Park on Halloween, music everywhere, and a moment of freedom
    • Popeyes etiquette, moonrocks, Papa Smurf, and ugly-face R&B
    • Coming home, choosing happiness, and realizing how far I’ve come

If you’re new here, quick context:
I’m a widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, a survivor of a blood clot in my brain caused by birth control pills (hello hysterectomy), and the daughter of a man who spent 23 years in prison. I’m well-versed in trauma — but I still laugh. A lot.

This episode is funny, reflective, irreverent, heartfelt, and very on brand.

Because life is always going to get weird.
And I plan to enjoy it anyway.

  • Lynn Logic — Episode 45 Women Forged in Fire: The Hands That Heal, Beauty, Therapy, and Beyond

    Lynn Logic — Episode 45
Women Forged in Fire: The Hands That Heal, Beauty, Therapy, and Beyond

In this Women Forged in Fire episode of Lynn Logic, I sit down with my friend Simone of Baskin Therapy—a true healer whose work goes far beyond beauty and straight into restoration, intention, and whole-body wellness.

Some people help you look good.
Some people help you feel good.
Simone does both—with wisdom, presence, and hands that truly heal.

We talk about her upbringing, her philosophy of beauty therapy, and how touch becomes a language when words fall short. From hair and skin care to massage, body work, coaching, and mentorship, Simone blends intuition, skill, and intention to help people reconnect with themselves—inside and out.

    This episode is about:
    • Beauty as wellness, not performance
    • Touch as communication
    • Healing that’s deeper than pampering
    • Creating space for people to rest, reset, and feel whole again

If you’ve ever needed permission to slow down, to listen to your body, or to remember that self-care is not a luxury—it’s a necessity—this episode is for you.

    Quick recap on me:
I’m Lynn—the widow of a cross-dressing alcoholic, a survivor of a brain blood clot that led to a hysterectomy, and the daughter of a man who spent 23 years in prison. I have a 25-year background in accounting and operations, a BA in psychology, and a lifelong love of patterns, numbers, and categories. Lynn Logic is what happens when all of that collides—with humor, honesty, and zero bullshit.

Stick around for real moments, outtakes, laughter, and reflections on why doing something—anything—that brings you joy can be a survival skill.

Baskin Therapy is more than a service.
    It’s space.
    It’s healing.
    It’s intention.
