It took a lot of courage to be a physician in the Victorian era. Treating patients was difficult and the mortality rate was high. You had to think on your feet to keep your patients and most importantly, yourself alive. This fortnights episode is all about how one physician didn't give up when he was told his ideas were ridiculous and we learn all about how a well in Soho helped to change the lives of Londoners and people across the world with one simple idea behind it. Join us to learn all about Cholera and Courage. If you like the show, please give us a review in Itunes so it helps other people find the podcast. Word of mouth is the way we really get new listeners so do tell your friends if you like what you hear.
