Hey everybody, I'm back with another episode of the show! I know I promised when I first got rolling with this podcast, that I'd be very Hammer Studios heavy on my episodes that feature films. Well, in 2022, I'm going to deliver on that promise, and starting right now! There's no better place to start than the beginning, and The Curse of Frankenstein from 1957, is where Hammer launched into the stratosphere. It also launched the careers of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee into superstar status! And my guest for this one is also a huge fan of Hammer, Mike, from the Comics in the Golden Age Podcast! The two of us went on for quite a stroll with this one as you can imagine, and did our best to give it its due.
As usual, you can reach out with any feedback for the show through email at [email protected] or to me on Twitter @Billyd_licious or on the Fb page. Mike is on Twitter @ComicsintheGA (definitely give him a follow).
*Quick note- the synopsis I used from IMDB was off slightly, as the hands the Good Baron procured were not that of a pianist, but a sculptor!
