Maintaining The Me In Marriage And Motherhood

Just a quick end of year check-in. The title pretty much sums it up. Whether it's unresolved issues with family, friends, work or the combination. There are some things that are ready to reset by the new year, but the truth is some things take more than a year to resolve. In this episode, there are a few tips and words of encouragement for the new year. 

It’s been a very busy couple months so I had to submit to the times but I’m back! I have had an avalanche of thoughts since my last podcast! So much to unpack lol but mainly self reflection and so many thoughts about midlife and middle age more recently! Midlife people are ranging from married empty nesting… single starting families… single moms to married having more babies.. Divorced and empty nesting…getting remarried having more babies… Starting new careers.. going into entrepreneurship etc. Even the age ranges have been updated in the last couple months since 2021. 

In this episode.. I’m talking about the new look of middle age… midlife age changes… what is mid life crisis in recent years? How midlife impacts relationships and career?… and suggestions I found of what can be done if it does turn into a crisis! Tune in!

Mom guilt goes from pregnancy… “Did I eat enough nutritious food today for the baby?” to childhood “Am I working too much...are they on their Ipad or phone too much?” to adult children “Did I teach them enough to be able to be independent?  It can be a rabbit hole of things to worry about if you don’t get ahold of it! LOL!
