Among countless other things, Micah produced and edited my audiobook, and has been a creative go-to that I couldn’t do without. On this episode, he and I reminisce about the early days, discuss how we’ve impacted each other’s lives, and outline the exciting changes ahead.

29-yr-old Daniella met Dan at a club and went home with him the same night. After several great dates, and seemingly interested for more, Dan pulled back. Shortly thereafter, while away on business, Dan asked Daniella to fly to be with him, yet he didn’t follow through. Not hearing from Dan for weeks, Daniella seeks clarity on possible next steps. Paula explains what Daniella can do to have a chance to be dancing with Dan, again, like when they first met.

After being in several challenging relationships, and a marriage that was abusive, 47-yr-old Renee has learned to guard herself and her heart. 49-yr-old Robert has shown Renee that he is honest, loving, and loyal. But having his own PTDD (Post-Traumatic Divorce Disorder) Robert is not ready to commit, despite valuing Renee and all that she gives. By letting down her guard and continuing to support Robert’s quest to heal post-divorce, will Renee win Robert’s undying devotion, or will she end-up simply traumatizing herself?

On the heels of a devastating divorce, 36-yr-old Liz was encouraged by friends to start dating again. Following a 9-hour date with 38-yr-old Personal Trainer, Mike, Liz was smitten. But after experiencing Mike’s lack of initiative and follow up, Liz found herself seriously confused. After much back and forth on text, including messy social media interactions, Liz found herself wondering if she could just “have fun” with Mike and his muscles, yet also maintain the possibility of more “down-the-road.” On Episode 77 of Make Him Wonder, Paula attempts to help Liz recognize that her need to be a “Peacock” results in her continued interest in “Pigeons” who can be fun for a time but will leave her with lots of “droppings” to clean up, afterwards.

34 yr-old Sara wants children, so she has a goal of getting engaged and married within two years. However, Sara seriously doubts her abilities when it comes to dating. By explaining to Paula about her last relationship of nearly three years, Sara discovers the importance of being mindful from the moment of meeting a man. On Episode 76, listen for how not making choices early-on in a relationship can be the cause of heartbreak, as well as the lingering self-doubt that is ultimately more serious.

35-yr-old Amanda has had a 10-year on-again, off-again relationship with 33-yr-old Michael. Despite 3 years living at a long distance, and Michael having a new girlfriend, Amanda wants to reconcile. Determined to do things in a high-value way, Amanda comes on Episode 75 of Make Him Wonder hoping to hear some hope from Coach Paula. Are the mixed-messages Michael has received too many, and gone on for too long for this relationship to go the distance? Coach Paula weighs-in on Amanda’s journey.

The phenomena of younger men/older women has finally made it to Reality-TV with a new show looking for women in their 40s and 50s to meet younger men. But, as with all Reality-TV there is a twist.
