This Lent, we will be examining some of the great characters of the Bible and their inner struggles to answer the call of God. They were real-life people who were having real-life experiences of God: experiences that stretched them and scared them and shook their worlds apart. They were challenged, grown, and given dreams that would turn their lives upside-down – and world along with them. And always, there was an inner conflict, a divine tug-of-war between this new vision of God and their old ways of thinking.
“Jacob at Peniel” based on the scripture from Genesis 32:24-31.
