Our Miss Thing this week is THE songwriter, lyricist, chart topping hitmaker, whistle note expert, the queen of shade, feuds, Christmas, and the elusive chanteuse herself… MARIAH CAREY! In this ep, Tim recalls the time he became a trendsetting diva and inadvertently ended up being the inspiration for Carpool Karaoke while Greg remembers the emotional night he got a hug and kiss goodbye from New York City herself. Other highlights include: Greg and Tim living for the A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E, lamenting the lost art of screening your calls, giving advice to their younger self, wondering where all the hills have gone, and liking “pranks with grace.” They boys also talk happy pills, signing the petition to not allow James Corden in any more movie musicals, Jay Leno’s fall, and they decide which celebrity they’d want to record their voicemails. They also ask the really tough questions like: “Are we mad at Wicked?” “What the f*ck is The Brutalist?” And, “Where do we make an appointment with the scientist who did Lindsay Lohan’s plastic surgery?” They also play the new Christmas classic game, “Holiday Hitmaker.” So Inertias, put on your Glitter-iest jewels, slip into your bathtub, and let us lull you into a Precious (based on the novel “Push” by Sapphire) state. Oh, and get on your feet it’s the holidays! BONK!
