Before we begin, we have to get one thing out of the way: go Chiefs.  Anyway.  There's nothing a global mega-corporation loves more than saving money.  If you're a highly skilled, long-time employee in the first world, you cost a lot of money.  Normally that wouldn't be a problem, except there's an entire planet full of people willing to do your job for half the price.  It's not strictly legal, but it's not strictly illegal either so you can't do anything about it.  Anything except vote when the opportunity arises.
