1977 AAU Jr. Mr. America winner Mario Nieves is the guest on the Bodybuilding Legends Podcast. Mario was one of the best amateur bodybuilders in the country in the late 1970's, placing high at all the national level competitions. Mario talks about moving from Puerto Rico to Chicago as a youngster and how his life dramatically changed. Mario also talks about training with Sergio Oliva in his prime, seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger train and pose and the training and diet strategies that helped to build his physique. At the end of the Podcast, host John Hansen reads an article about Mario from the July, 1978 issue of IronMan Magazine.
