Mark talks about some of the far fetched reasons being floated around out there, and tells you what could have really been the reason. OPENING MONOLOGUE - Wow, well things certainly ramped up in speed today. GMJR announced his resignation from the Penguins this afternoon. Mark talks all about GMJR for the first two segments, the great legacy he leaves behind in Pittsburgh.

We then shift focus to the Super Bowl briefly as Mark welcomes on Hall of Famer and Super Bowl Champion Head Coach for your Pittsburgh Steelers, Bill Cowher! Bill and Mark preview the big game in two Sundays and also talk a bit about the Steelers.

THE LIST - Matt Murray had a rough go of it last night in his game against the Canucks. Perhaps the Penguins just caught lightening in a bottle with Murray in the two Stanley Cup Years.
Mark then gets back into the Hall of Fame vote for baseball being revealed today and just how much of a joke it really is.

It's then time for The Hockey Night Show as Mark welcomes Seth Rorabaugh from the Trib to kick things off and talk all Penguins and Bruins ahead of the game tonight. Mark then opens it up to asking him anything....about hockey before we turn things over to the Penguins Radio Network.

NEW WORLD ORDER - Mark ponders if it is possible that when BA "retired" from the Steelers, even though he was fired because, it sure doesn't look like BA is retired right now. Mark wonders if that can be traced back to the beginning of the end of the Steelers as contenders.

He gives a quick Penguins take before taking a call about the Steelers running game and if it can actually change that much for the Steelers under Matt Canada

OPENING MONOLOGUE -Well Well Well.... Marks breaking news certainly caused quite the stir last night on twitter, with all three Watt brothers joining in! That's the Subway Trifecta! Mark stands by his source and his reporting. It's possible for a pro athlete to lie.
There is a hockey game tonight you know. A rather large one. Mark talks about the Penguins to close out the open before taking some calls about the Watt situation and the Steelers dysfunction.

We then welcome the great Paul Steigerwald onto the show to break down the Penguins ahead of their game with Boston tonight.
