THE LIST - The Penguins power play is in the crosshairs today for Mark as although it's early... they don't seem to be clicking at all and still make one too many passes as opposed to just taking the shot.

NEW WORLD ORDER - The Pirates traded Musgrove for a ton of prospects, and the stooge Pirate media is taking a victory lap. Even if it is a good trade, Mark spells it out like it is. Nothing will change until the owner changes. Until then, every move is motivated by saving money.

Stan Savran joins the show for his weekly segment with Mark as they talk some Steelers football before getting into the Pens ahead of their game vs the Caps tonight.

Mark then gets into the Mets firing Jared Porter, and rightly so, and how it still baffles him that Brett Favre did exactly the same thing but somehow he has gotten away with it.

It's a hockey night in Pittsburgh and Josh Getzoff has the call on the X. He joins Mark to break down the Penguins, talk about DeSmith getting the second straight start and preview Pens Caps round 2 tonight at PPG.

Mark delivers his annual I have a dream speech to start the second hour of the show, this year addressing the Steelers.

Mark then talks about how Bill Nunn Jr needs to be in the hall of fame and hopefully he gets that call in 2021 as he deserves. He talks about some of the great things Nunn did.

Mike Lange, someone who is in the Hall of Fame, then makes his season debut here on the Mark Madden Show as he and Mark discuss the start to the season, is there anything to worry about with Jarry, who's been the best player and the best line, and much much more.
Mark then gets back into the Steelers and hiring Matt Canada as the OC and how it's just another case of hiring somebody to be Ben's bobo. Beyond that though, Mark also doesn't feel he's qualified for the job.
