I’ve been doing 30-day custom content decks with marketing strategies - and this episode is going to be what I’ve learned from doing 25+ of these so far and how I approach them so you can do this for yourself.
Also - if you want to order your own 30-day custom content deck with marketing strategy 100% personalized for you, by me, they’re on sale right now for Black Friday for just $47.

Here are the questions that I ask in order to do this plan and audit - so grab a notepad or open up a google doc so you can come back to these yourself later.
A lot of people have said that just in answering these questions for me they gained a lot of clarity about what they want to do on their social media, but more importantly where they might be lacking the information or focus they require in order to really know who they’re selling to, and what their offer is …
So going through these questions should help you get really clear before you just jump in and start making fun reels or tiktoks or whatever.
4. What are 3 specific DESIRES your ideal customer is facing right now? Examples: She wants to get more online clients so she can stop working in her clinic so many hours a week
5. Let's talk about what you want to sell.
6. What best describes your style on social media?
7. What are your content creation limits...are you willing to do reels? videos? Is there anything you specifically are interested in more than other types of content?
8. What makes you and your offer different than everything else that's out there?
I did a deep dive into one of my clients’ businesses recently and interviewed 18 of her customers. What I discovered was the disconnect between what she was selling and what they wanted, the problems they were having (both internally and externally) and the way she talked about how she could solve those problems for them.
This is one of the core principles of marketing and something that I’m offering now in my 1:1 services.
Today, I’m going to walk you through the exact process I did with this business so that you can do your own ideal customer profile for yourself.
3. Record, transcribe, and analyze the interviews
4. Look for themes and create a profile based on them & identify key takeaways
Make sure you do not interpret their words but, rather use the exact words they do.
By doing these interviews you will have your sales copy written for you, and you will be developing voice of customer data which is invaluable.

In this episode you'll learn what to do if no one buys on your webinar or free masterclass.
Here are the top 3 reasons why they're coming but they don't end up buying:
Wanna know how to stay poor while earning sh*ttons of money?
I didn't think so!
I was given really bad advice, listened to it for a really long time, and got myself into a pickle.
And I've since come to find out that THIS mindset mistake is super common.
It's my hope that by walking you through the mindset shift that I recently made that has given us an increase of $97k, it will help you, stop you from making this mistake, or allow you to be even stronger financially!
Inside this episode, I outline the 4 steps we are taking to get ourselves right financially (after waking up and having this mindset shift)
Step 1 - Get the book, Profit First
Step 2 - Itemize ALL your expenses. I mean, every single one. Consider calling in your debit cards lost to force-cancel any subscriptions you’ve made on them. Cancel all recurring small charges, and make sure to check annual subscriptions that you can easily forget about.
Step 3 - Consider staff cutbacks. This sucks but is usually the biggest line item and you might not be able to afford them.
Step 4 - Implement profit first so you are running your business out of what you can actually afford to spend and living on what you can actually afford to live on.

Running a webinar or virtual live event doesn't have to get complex or tricky ...
There are lots of ways to make them fancy but remember that all the bells and whistles you add will add a layer of tech and potential problems that you don't need!
So, in an attempt to help you avoid the pitfalls that I've made (think: webinar platform outage right when I hit "GO LIVE")...
I'll be outlining the top 3 factors to make hosting your live webinar simple.
Plus, a couple of little extra hints to add here:
After you listen to this and feel confident to set up your first webinar, just do a test run with a friend and make sure that everything is working.
Also, I like to have a "worst case scenario" worked out just so that I can relax and know that a back-up plan is in place.
Alright, dive in and grab some notes and get ready to conquer any tech fears and start playing with this powerful sales technique in your business!

Questions are always an opportunity to handle objections people have before putting down their money with you. In today's episode, we'll cover the top 3 questions you should plan to answer at the end of your next webinar in order to make more sales. We'll also talk about why these 3 questions are so important and some ways to tackle the objections that lie beneath them.
#1 Time
#2 Money
#3 Skill or "is it right for me?"

17-20% is the industry average "show up live" rate for live masterclasses or webinars. Your sales are much more likely to come in via people who attend your training LIVE, which is why it's so very important to do everything you can to increase that live attendance rate.
In this episode you will learn the top 4 ways that I've used to increase live attendance to our webinars. Try one or two out (at least) on your next masterclass and let me know how it goes!

Why people don’t buy after they come to your free class?
There are different types of “free content” designed to help you sell your paid offer: masterclass, webinar, free intro class, video series, zoom, telecall, email series, podcast sequence, private podcast
I’ve been auditing webinars and noticed that people are commonly doing similar things wrong inside them.
Today, I’m going to give you these so you can start to look at it for yourself and when you go to do your next free class you can make sure to keep this in mind.
I’ll also be diving in deeper into these next week inside a free training called Master Your Masterclass: 3 keys to doing a free class that sells your paid program.
This will be live October 17th at 4pm and I'd love to have you come and join me live and ask your questions too.

Today's episode will cover the 3 biggest mistakes people make when doing a free intro, masterclass, or webinar that lead to them not making the sales that they would like.
First thing to consider when doing a free thing in order to pitch your paid thing is to choose an interesting, engaging, attention-grabbing topic.
People no longer sign up for things just because they’re free.
You need to actually sell (and market) your free event just like you do anything you are charging for.
When choosing your webinar or masterclass topic, I’ve identified 10 important factors to consider.
Listen in to hear what they are, and while you're listening make sure to download the accompanying checklist.

I'm back for Season 3 of Marketing Chaos!
I'm on the path to recovery. Recovery on all levels from a traumatic experience that, at time of this recording, is still occuring.
If you want the full download of where I've been, I created a private podcast series that is 7 Brutal Lessons Learned on My Way to Business Success.
Listen to that here: http://laurenmarieglobal.com/lessons
This private series is a personal story, but many people have found them relevant to their journey as well.
As for Marketing Chaos, and an introduction to our new season, I'm beginning with values.
Values are something that I never paid much attention to and thought everyone just had the same ones, and writing them down was some sort of empty exercise, like having a mission statement…
Now it’s something I think about with every piece of content and every decision. I also get into priorities and constraints inside this episode.
Also, I talk about my surprising discovery of the relationship of trauma, the brain, and moving forward in business.
I'd love to hear from you on https://www.instagram.com/laurenmarieglobal/
