  • Biblical Marriage Roles, A Fresh Perspective on God's Design - Interview With Michael and Tania Koehler
What Ephesians 5, Colossians 3, and 1 Peter 3 teach about roles, and why to deal with little foxes early

    About This Episode

Michael and Tania Koehler were only three months into their marriage when they were asked to lead a marriage ministry. More than 11 years later, they have learned to teach from both their strengths and their weaknesses. In this conversation, they share a fresh look at biblical marriage roles from Ephesians 5, Colossians 3, and 1 Peter 3, where husbands lead and love sacrificially and wives submit and respect, and they tie those roles back to Genesis 3 and the curse Christ reverses. Michael describes a quiet battle between his flesh and the Spirit that Tania misread, and the Koehlers explain why being quick to listen, confessing early, never speaking low of each other, and trusting the Holy Spirit to convict all protect a marriage.

    About Michael & Tania Koehler

Michael and Tania Koehler lead Marriage Mania Ministry, where they have been strengthening marriages for more than 11 years. They teach a biblical view of marriage roles and offer resources including The Helper: The Role of a Biblical Wife Bible study, a marriage coloring book, and marriage gratitude journals.

  • Finding Your True Identity in Christ with Curt Storring
Why God told a successful dad coach to stop, and what he learned about identity, idols, and self-help

    About This Episode

Curt Storring spent years in New Age divine masculine self-help and meditation before finding Christ through Instagram. He built a successful coaching business called Dad Work and came to faith while running it, until God told him to stop. His identity had become tied to being the forward-facing influencer instead of simply being God's son. In this honest conversation, Curt explains why self-help without Christ is just self-worship, how worldly wisdom can imitate the real thing like vegan cheese, and why obedience and repentance, not results, are the true measure of success. He also talks about social media and authenticity, trusting God through major transitions, parenting and marriage with Christ at the center, and how his wife Natalie's honesty helped him grow.

    About Curt Storring

Curt Storring is the founder of Proclaim Podcasting, where he edits Christian podcasts. He previously led Dad Work, a coaching business for fathers, before God called him to lay it down and find his identity in Christ alone. He brings a candid voice on fatherhood, surrender, and leaving New Age self-help behind.

  • From Satan Worship and Drugs to Serving Christ - Interview with Mason & Courtney Skaggs
Hidden pornography, betrayal trauma, and secret debt: how confession and community are healing their marriage

    About This Episode

Mason Skaggs was addicted to opioids and meth, dealing drugs, and practicing theistic Satan worship when God broke through and saved him while he sat crying at his desk. Courtney came to faith more slowly, walking through her own depression and substance abuse and then the betrayal trauma of Mason's hidden pornography and lust early in their marriage. In this honest conversation, they share how a pastor shamed rather than helped, why Mason called a friend every day for more than 90 days, and how Courtney's secret shopping and debt was her own coping sin that had to come into the light. Their message is clear: no sin struggle is beyond Christ's power to heal, and hidden sin hinders what God wants to do through a marriage.

    About Mason & Courtney Skaggs

Mason and Courtney Skaggs have been married for five years. Mason is the director of musical worship at Emmaus Church in Kansas City, Missouri, and part of Sovereign Fire Studios, a YouTube channel and podcast that shares testimonies and theology for the Christian life. • 3 Ways To Maintain Intimacy During Pregnancy
Recorded days before a c-section amid a wildfire evacuation: staying close in body, mind, and spirit

    About This Episode

Pregnancy can change the way a couple connects, but it doesn't have to create distance. Recorded the week before their c-section, and in the middle of a wildfire evacuation, Aaron and Jennifer share what they have learned walking through pregnancy six times. They teach three areas of intimacy to protect in any season when physical intimacy is disrupted: physical, mental and emotional, and spiritual. They talk honestly about pelvic rest, about Aaron's physical orientation and Jennifer's emotional one, and about the recurring lesson that telling your spouse where you are, rather than silently deciding and leaving them guessing, protects your marriage from insecurity and lies. Aaron also shares news about the show's upcoming shift to guest interviews.

    About Aaron & Jennifer Smith

Aaron and Jennifer Smith are the founders of Marriage After God and authors of Husband After God, Wife After God, and Marriage After God. Married since 2007 and raising six children in Bend, Oregon, they started Husband Revolution and Unveiled Wife to share what God was teaching them, not from a place of having it figured out, but as fellow travelers pointing couples back to Jesus.

    In This Episode

Physical intimacy — Holding hands, massages, and staying close even when intercourse isn't possible.
Mental and emotional intimacy — Intentional bedtime conversations, checking in, and making each other laugh.
Spiritual intimacy — Praying together, sharing Scripture, and reading the Word.
Different wiring — Aaron's physical orientation and Jennifer's emotional one.
Communicate where you are — Why silent decisions breed insecurity and lies.
Safer to be close — It's safer to be intimate than it is to be distant.
Any season — Applying these principles whenever physical intimacy is limited.
What's next — The show's upcoming shift to guest interviews.

    Scripture Referenced

1 Corinthians 7:5 — Do not neglect one another except by mutual agreement, for a time, devoted to prayer
Romans 12:10 — Love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honor
Philippians 2:4 — Look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others
Philippians 4:6 — Do not be anxious about anything
Psalm 119:105 — Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path
Colossians 3:2 — Set your minds on things that are above

    About This Episode

This is a raw, real-time life note from our home in Central Oregon. As a wildfire moved close enough to put our neighborhood under a level-two evacuation notice, and just days before Jennifer's scheduled c-section, we sat down to share what we were packing, what we were praying, and what God was showing us about how tightly we had been holding our newly built home. We talk about helping our kids trust God whether or not the house burns, the practical steps every family should take before an emergency ever comes, and the gift of community when life feels uncertain. Distracted listening, harsh words, dodged talks, assumptions, and anger, plus the biblical fix for each one.

    About This Episode

Everything you do sends a message, especially in marriage. In this episode we look at communication as a gift from God, drawing parallels to how He communicates with us, and then get honest about five mistakes we have made in our own marriage: failing to really listen, speaking harshly or interrupting, avoiding difficult conversations, assuming instead of asking, and letting anger take control. For each one we share a biblical fix and a practical step, from active listening and soft answers to going directly to your spouse and dealing with anger before the day is done. • 10 Biblical Ways to Resolve Conflict in Marriage
Fight for unity instead of against each other: ten Scripture-rooted steps from forgiveness to repentance.

    About This Episode

What if couples put the same effort and energy they use fighting against each other into fighting for unity? Back from our summer break, with our baby on the way, we walk through ten biblical principles for resolving conflict in marriage. We talk about remembering you are already one team, forgiving and saying so, preaching the gospel to yourself, and being slow to anger and quick to listen. We look at true repentance through David's prayer in Psalm 51 and Nathan's confrontation, why reconciliation is the goal, and why your spouse is not a mind reader. We also share the story of a wife who endured by seeing her husband as a brother in Christ, and why love is the one debt we always owe.

In this episode we walk through all seven biblical feasts and how each one points to Christ. Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and the Feast of Weeks were fulfilled in His death, His sinless body, His resurrection, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, right on their prophetic dates. The fall feasts of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles still point forward to the rapture, the second coming and judgment, and God dwelling with His people forever. He is not just part of the feasts; He is the fulfillment of them. We also share how we celebrate some of these with our kids.
