Encountering the love of your life at the age of 16 and finding your best friend in the same person is a rare occurrence in today's world. However, Jemma experienced precisely that. In her early twenties, she detected a lump in her breast, a concern that medical professionals had initially dismissed as inconsequential. But one fateful day, that diagnosis took a different turn.
Amid the anxieties of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jemma endured a harrowing wait, separated from her family and unsure if she would even be able to undergo surgery. On the day of her operation, everything hung in the balance.
Jemma is a delightful rural woman, and the genuine love and enthusiasm she holds for her life on the land shine through in her voice. Her greatest passion, though, is watching her children grow up, a sentiment that resonates deeply within her.
