Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes State Representative Martina White back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss why Republican State Representatives have decided to vote for an Independent, Mark Rozzi, as the Speaker of the House. White explains that the ultimate goal of State Lawmakers was to prevent Democrats from pushing another progressive candidate, such as Joanna McClinton, telling of the importance of having a favorable Speaker, even if the Speaker is not a member of the Party. Also, White previews what to expect with the new Congress, telling that she hopes to continue fighting for Philadelphians in holding District Attorney Larry Krasner accountable. Also, Dom asks White to lend her expertise as a Party head to tell what she believes Republicans need to do in upcoming elections to further ensure success.

Then, after finishing with White, Dom offers the final results of the 7th vote for Speaker of the House, telling that there’s been no movement since the 6th vote besides a vote by Matt Gaetz for former President Donald Trump. After that, Dan plays back some clips for Dom of President Biden’s press conference announcing the next steps to address the border crisis, with Biden trying to argue that Title 42 was actually a negative for the border crisis.
