Marty Becker is a two-time NFR Qualifier in tie-down roping who grew up in the saddle on a ranch just north of the Montana border in Alberta, Canada. He now calls Texas home, where he spends his days training young horses and teaching people how to rope. Marty is a phenomenal team roper, and his understanding of the sport makes him a great coach and mentor. We talk about how he got his start in Pro Rodeo coming from Canada, the dedication that it took, and what it was like being brought along by some of the most iconic names in Canadian Rodeo history.
