This week, we're joined by author Shereen El Feki to delve into the gender and sexual politics underpinning the region. She oversaw a study with NGO Promundo and UN women, in which 10,000 people in Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon and the Palestinian Territories were asked the question: what does it mean to be a man in the Middle East today? We also see how efforts are underway to repair the war-damaged buildings and roads of the Syrian city of Aleppo, with some taking inspiration from Germany's war-torn past.
And we head to the first refugee camp in the world to be powered entirely by solar energy. It's located in Jordan's desert.
