I read an article that is very pertinent to today and everything that is going on all around us. It was written by Charles G. Reigner, M.P.S 1948 May.

This mason points out what freedoms mean to us in the United States. Even though it was written back in 1948, it still resonates with the times and the issues that we must confront. 

Then I read an article from the original Dino himself, Brooks Kubic. "Music or no Music when you exercise?"

I read an email from a Fellow Craft Mason at Wendell 565  North Carolina who tells us a little about his health journey and some Masonic connections.

We dig deeper into the Benedictine monks and the Masonic connection. The Benedictine monks focused on a number of symbols that are central to Freemasonry. We read more from Alberto Moreno Moreno's book "The Rule of Saint Benedict and Masonic Ritual, The Origin of Masonic Usages, Customs and Ritual to help us understand this possible connection. We once again find ourselves learning more about the Regius Manuscript.

Then we read an article published in February of 1948 written by Brother Rabbi Hirsch Geffen, F.P.S called "Jacobs Ladder" and see what he has to say about this story and symbol of the Old Testament.

Finally we learn how to apply the ladder to a good workout. Can we use it to help us increase the intensity?

I read an article from Phlialethes magazine written in 1946. The article was promoting a little known book today that only had a limited printing of 500. Very limited if you ask me. As we enter the Craft, shouldn't we be led to books like this to help us learn how our ceremonies evolved?

But just like this book that is out there could there be others that are being held in personal libraries?

We continue the thread of the Masonic Variant coming out of England and ask ourselves how masons and Grand Masters tried to protect their members from these variants. How did these Grand Master inoculate their members from these dangerous masonic variants and did these variants reach America at some point and try to infect the colonists and later American?

Then we talk about the weightlifting variants from Josehp Curtis Hise to Peary Radar and their breathing squats routines that gave them tremendous results. These men were pioneers of the weightlifting world and applied their genius to their endeavor and efforts of reaching physical perfection.

In this episode I review what the first degree charge says about our duty as a citizen,  the people rising up all around the world to fight for their freedoms and rights, Boris Johnson was forced to remove all restrictions for the cuties meaning no more masks, no more jab mandates and everything connected to it. Does our first degree charge admonish us to just obey and not question anything our elected officials say or do?

The only way we can begin to understand this is to exercise our minds and learn about what Lysander Spooner had to say about Jury Nullification and how we as citizens are empowered not only the facts of any case but the execution of the law being applied. We have the right and duty to judge both the fact and law. 

I would add that this applies to us as Citizens and Masons alike.
