Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by telling of Senator Tim Scott’s announcement that he’ll be throwing his hat into the ring as a Republican contender for the 2024 Presidential election. Dom tells why he very much supports the candidate, and reads back a question Scott had to field, with a reporter asking whether Scott is a virgin. Then, Dom reveals that State Senator Doug Mastriano is planning an announcement that he’ll be running for United States Senate next week. Dom explains his frustration with the decision, pointing to the negative impact that Mastriano’s radicalism held on the 2022 election.
Then, Dom welcomes in New Jersey Assemblyman Jay Webber, who’s recently entered into a feud with Governor Phil Murphy over a complaint filed by the Attorney General’s office that challenges the decision by Hanover Township Board of Education advising teachers to notify parents if a student is transitioning gender at school. Assemblyman Webber tweeted out a call for schools to not withhold information from children, also calling out the Governor and Attorney General for prioritizing virtue and politics over the safety of children and the decision-making of parents. Giordano and Webber discuss the negative impact of hiding such information from parents, and Webber explains what else he hopes to do to remove politics from school curricula in New Jersey.
