Matt Backeberg is the training chief for Cheyenne Mountain complex. He served in the USAF as a firefighter. Matt has dedicated his life to the fire service and continues to pass on his passion for the job. I served with Matt in Saudi Arabia and we quickly became good friends. We lost touch over the years and because he spells his name funny, I had a hard time tracking him down. I finally found him and reconnected.
